While sometimes an apparent lack of desired result may lead you to suspect otherwise, you really do have far-reaching powers in shaping your reality that go beyond applying direct action to the already actualized ‘material reality’ around you.
However, you won’t find these powers in the realm of direct, linear causality… where actions directly lead to more or less predictable reactions (or even where you think that positive thoughts or feelings directly lead to a desired effect).
Of course, that doesn’t mean this type of action is not important and essential in the process of creating and changing your own reality.
I’m just saying that there’s another part of the story you need to be aware of that’s of far greater significance in shaping the general nature of your reality… not merely adjusting and rearranging the already existing elements in it.
Your ‘Indirect’ Impact On Reality
As opposed to direct action within the 3D-realm of actualized physical reality, the mechanisms through which you can really, significantly shape the nature of your reality are far more subtle and indirect.
Taking action is important in this context as well, but not in the sense of applying a direct force to trigger a reactive effect, which is what most people are used to doing and what they think their powers are limited to.
Instead, your biggest impact on the overall shape and nature of the material reality you experience happens on an invisible, metaphysical plane (<– which also makes i so tricky to spot and easy to miss (or even dismiss)… much less to consciously control).
Many people have attempted to capture this process into ‘step-by-step-processes’ and ‘formulas’ that bypass the need for understanding all the mechanistic ins and outs. And that’s cool, because:
- First of all, you don’t have to understand all of them to be able to reap the benefits, just like you don’t have to understand all the mechanics of a car to be able to drive it.
- And secondly, the truth is, nobody really understands all the mechanistic ins and outs anyway (<– including yours truly).
All we can currently strive for are models that are sufficiently understandable and pragmatic to work with, and close enough to the real thing to enable us to deliberately elicit the effects we’re happy with.
One example is the model I’ve described in the Crack Your Egg Program. Another (related, but different) one is the so-called ‘Law of Attraction’, which has triggered immense interest in the past couple of years.
And yet, despite this massive interest, the accompanying windfall of explanations and literal invasion of (generally self-proclaimed) experts on this supposed ‘Law’, the process of ‘creating their own reality’ remains as elusive to most people as it always has been to them.
In fact, like many other folks, you may have been wondering yourself:
“How is it possible that even though I know so much about this ‘Law of Attraction’ (together with all the alleged ‘laws’, ‘sub-laws’, ‘principles’, ‘commandments’, ‘guidelines’, and all that stuff you hear about these days…), I still can’t seem to get what I really want out of life?”
There are many reasons for this. But in this article we’re going to focus on one in particular, which is a concept I refer to as ‘implicit intent’.
It’s something you hardly ever hear about. But it’s so crucially important, that it will become the main focus of the information that I’ll be sharing with you in upcoming articles and materials.
So what is it, anyway?
Let’s start exploring…
What Is ‘Implicit Intent’?
Obviously, the term ‘implicit intent’ suggests there must also be something called ‘explicit intent’. And that’s correct, there is. Defined in general terms:
- ‘Explicit intent’ involves conscious effort. It comes down to what you do (which includes making yourself think, feel, and/or believe something through any kind of technique).
For our intents and purposes, we can say that ‘explicit intent’ involves exerting some kind of force… a deliberate push or pull aimed in a specific direction.
- ‘Implicit intent’ on the other hand is essentially effortless. It comes down to the natural result of your overall state of being. It’s the intent you express not directly through specific actions or techniques, but both indirectly through the attitudes and motivations behind them, as well as by default when you’re not deliberately doing anything.
For our intents and purposes, we can say that ‘implicit intent’ emanates a corresponding power field.
Now here’s the most crucial thing to realize:
- The overall nature of the ‘actualized physical reality’ you experience is most predominantly a reflection of your ‘implicit intent’.
- On the other hand, while also essential, the ‘explicit intent’ you’ve defined and may be deliberately trying to materialize is of relatively minor importance in this process (especially if you’re not aware of your implicit intent)… and is certainly not automatically the same as your ‘implicit intent’.
In other words, just because you’re explicitly thinking and intending something (and may be applying all kinds of fancy techniques to do so), doesn’t mean you’re implicitly expressing that same intent… much less that the nature of the reality you create and experience will correspond to it.
So you’re probably beginning to appreciate why this concept is so important:
The Importance of ‘Implicit Intent’
Let me illustrate its importance by means of a typical ‘Law of Attraction’-scenario:
- Let’s say you have defined the desires you want to ‘manifest into reality’ in the form of a picture of what ‘success’ means to you.
- Next, you follow the typical guru advice:
You define your intent in explicit, positive wording and ‘focus on the positive’ through positive affirmations, “limiting belief busters”, goal-setting, allowance statements, etc.
You may even take it to the next level by taking explicit actions (generally meaning you’re already a few steps ahead of the crowd because this is something most people don’t even do). And since you think it never hurts to do some more, you throw in some meditation and brainwave entrainment as well.
Now don’t get me wrong: there’s nothing essentially wrong with any of this, and all these techniques and methods can have their own place and purpose in the bigger picture of the process. But as you’ve probably experienced, for most people this approach doesn’t cut it in making their dreams reality.
Once again, usually the problem isn’t that you’re not doing enough… I mean, you’re probably doing more than enough (perhaps even too much). Nor is it that all these various techniques are ineffective in the specific effect they’re designed to elicit.
The main problem is that for most people, these exercises and endeavors are fundamentally driven by the underlying desire to exert ‘pushes’ and ‘pulls’ to mold an already actualized material reality into a different shape. In other words, their approach limits itself to the realm of ‘explicit intent’, i.e. the intention you explicitly express through deliberate thoughts, feelings and actions.
Now here’s the thing:
As mentioned, implicit intent, as opposed to explicit intent, is not just about what you do and what you consciously (make yourself) think about. It’s the automatic, natural result of your overall, ‘default’ state of being. And as mentioned before, it’s also the predominating determinant for the overall nature of the reality you create for yourself.
And this leads us to one of the biggest pitfall in today’s avalanche of information on the subject:
Today’s Big ‘Law of Attraction’ Pitfall
Most people mistake the metaphysical (even spiritual) concept of ‘creating your own reality’ for some kind of magic trick that they see as their golden ticket to the riches they think will make up for the insecurities and supposed voids they experience (not least because it’s often presented and marketed as such).
This has become even more so since the term ‘manifesting’ has become a prevailing way to refer to this process. The term as it’s predominantly being used these days has a connotation of ‘conjuring up’ to it:
For the rabbit in this picture, just substitute a bunch of money, a check from a distant relative, a fancy car, a diamond necklace, a winning lottery ticket, an inflatable soul mate, and things like that… and you’ll understand what I mean.
Now ask yourself this:
When you apply this type of information with that kind of attitude and motivation, what state of being does that IMPLY?
Let me tell you:
- It implies it’s one of resisting your current circumstances. Your desire to ‘create a new reality’ is entirely motivated by your resistance to and dissatisfaction with your current situation. And so that’s where your implicit focus (i.e. intent) is.
- In other words, it implies that you set out to not to create a new reality, but rather to manipulate an existing one. You’re not in creative mode, but instead in reactive mode to undesired circumstances…
Here’s why this distinction is so crucial:
- Being in reactive mode implies external locus of control.
You put your situation and circumstances in control of you by resisting them. Whatever you resist becomes part of your implicit focus, and as long as it is, life will keep reflecting it. Besides, by implicitly handing your power over to the whims of circumstance, you can never expect to become the supreme creative power in your life.
- On the other hand, being in creative mode implies internal locus of control.
You put yourself in control, making circumstances almost irrelevant. Any undesired circumstances you may experience, you merely observe as feedback and as life’s reflection of your inner state of being. (<– And in case of any favorable circumstances, you celebrate them like crazy!)
Meanwhile, you make sure your implicit focus remains on whatever vision you have of the reality you want to experience… independent of current circumstances. And ‘life’ will find a way to reflect it in your actualized reality, or offer you means and/or opportunities to put you in the position to deliberately make it real through explicit action.
So please note:
- Actually materializing your vision may still require your explicit actions (e.g. to jump into opportunities that pop up and/or step through doors that suddenly seem to open). So that part is still important and often essential.
- The difference is that these actions are now conscious, proactive responses to developing circumstances (<– in fact, the development of which you implicitly contributed to!), rather than knee-jerk reactions to existing circumstances.
Do you see the difference?
Here’s the crux:
You Have The Power To Create… NOT Manipulate
Many people think that now that they’ve switched to the ‘spiritual’ and are working with concepts like the ‘Law of Attraction’, they’re now taking the more ‘enlightened’ approach to life, because they’re supposedly exploiting the far-reaching ‘powers of the mind’.
However, while their explicit efforts might suggest otherwise, implicitly they’re still in reactive mode… setting out to manipulate rather than create… thus putting circumstances in control of their lives and perpetuating the very type of experience they’re so desperately trying to get out of.
They really see this ‘Law of Attraction’ as a tool they can use… an instrument to do something with… as opposed to a model that describes the implicit result of a certain state of being.
Therefore, one crucial thing to make sure of in order to consciously apply the power of implicit intent to deliberately create a favorable reality, is that you must remain in creative mode, and stay out of reactive mode.
To figure out which mode you’re in (and thus the real orientation of your focus and the nature of your true, implicit intent), ask yourself which one of the following questions is predominantly lurking in the back of your head:
- “Has my old reality changed yet?”
If this question dominates your state of mind, then you’re in reactive mode. It means you have an underlying, implicit attitude and/or motivation that’s aimed at moving away from, getting rid of, or manipulating an existing reality.
As a result, your implicit focus is on whatever you’re resisting, which means your implicit intent is on materializing a reality that perpetuates the nature of that experience.
You play the game of life within the realm of explicit intent and ‘classical mechanics’, and within the boundaries of what you think is possible (as dictated by your conditioned belief systems and worldview).
As such, your journey will likely be a constant struggle of trying to push buttons inside and outside of you as a way to apply direct manipulative force to an already actualized reality (whether that’s through taking actual actions or exploiting the so-called ‘power of your mind’), with only relatively minor impact on its overall nature. On the other hand, here’s the other:
- “Am I focused on the vision I want to bring into being and/or on becoming the next most awesome version of myself (as I personally see it from a completely unattached state of mind, independent of current circumstances)? And where can I see evidence of this already coming to pass?”
If these questions dominate your state of mind, you’re in creative mode. It means circumstances are virtually irrelevant to you, and merely serve as feedback telling you something about your inner state. You’re being a creator, not acting as a manipulator. And as a result, you’re now playing the game of life in a realm that sometimes may even seem to defy the laws of classical physics and linear causality.
From this fundamental orientation, you can apply a range of techniques to intensify the power field you emanate and more clearly see the stunning impact of implicit intent on actualized material reality.
So to start doing this and deliberately exploit the power of implicit intent, here’s where you begin:
Your Next Steps
Obviously, everything discussed in this article implies that a significant portion of your power to ‘create your own reality’ lies in your clarity about what you want to create.
This is why I sent you the ‘One Choice To Transform Your Life’-video, which explained that a radically transformed reality essentially requires only one fundamental choice.
The key is to make a choice, stick to it, and live by it. While discovery is important in life, changing your choice every day is not conducive to materializing a specific vision of reality. You have to stay focused and consistent. So treat your choice as an irrevocable decision.
This means that whatever choice you make, you’d better make sure it’s a good one for you… for reasons we’ll dig deeper into in upcoming articles. Make sure it’s a creative choice, NOT a reactive one… and one you can actually stick to:
- Don’t let it depend on what anyone else thinks you should be going for… (<– You’d be putting your power to create in the hands of others…)
- Don’t allow any unfavorable circumstances you may currently be experiencing to color your perspective… (<– You’d be putting circumstances in control instead of yourself…)
- Don’t let any limiting beliefs of what you’re probably capable of stand in your way… (<– You’d be distorting your vision by confining ‘infinite possibility’ to your currently limited perspective of what’s possible…)
Just ignore your existing circumstances and all the artificial clutter and for a moment and ask yourself:
“What do I REALLY want?”
Then in order to deliberately exploit your power of ‘implicit intent’, make sure you stay in creative mode with regard to your choice… whatever it is.
And in the upcoming articles and materials, you’ll learn more nuances and ways to greatly intensify the effect (and thus your results).
P.S. As mentioned, there’s a lot of nuance to the topic of ‘implicit intent’ that’s impossible to cover in just one article. So we’ll zoom into it and expand on it over the course of an entire series of articles and other materials.
If you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to share them below, so I can answer them in upcoming materials: (<– And subscribe to the newsletter if you haven’t already to make sure you hear about them!)
Henk,
To be honest I had basically forgotten about lesson 1 until lesson 2 showed. I just reread lesson 1 and found it very impactful. I usually have trouble following your thought and or the language you use to present them. Probably resistance on my part. I keep going and out of your material.
Today has been a good day and I will remake my commitment to work your program and focus on what I envision rather than on what I am resisting about how life is.
I do appreciate your ongoing support.
Paul
I am 81 and have been doing it all wrong for 40 years. It was about 30 years ago that Werner Erhard said to look to your background commitment, but let you figure out what he meant.
So, I now know exactly what he meant and I can put it to use after reading your awesome article explaining it.
Coincidently in my morning meditation, this morning I declared to let go of my picture of how my intention would show up and made room for how Divinity would have it show up.
Seems like a lot of pressure dissipated for me.
Thank you. This last week for me has resulted in a change in perspective and this article was right on time. I really appreciate the distinctions made, as in life I’ve noticed how many times it wasn’t what I said I wanted that materialized, but the stuff simmering underneath that I’d never paid attention to, but wanted on a deeper more intimate level. I appreciate the way you are able to explain it to me so that my subconscious part really understands. Thank you so much.
thank you, Henk, for this thoughtful article. Yes, it is a good thought to start from my vision of life, rather than from what is not theree that I wanted. My present orientation is determined in good part by the fact that my husband of nearly 60 years, recently died, and I go through a variety of states – grief, loss, etc., but also joy at the sheer beauty of life. So, rather than trying to “mend” the past, your suggestion of a creative vision that corresponds to my deep values and love provides a valuable pointer for how to move on. Thank you, Henk!
and, by the way, I like your name – I had an uncle called Henk, in an “earlier life”, before my family migrated to Australia.
No, I’m at the othere end of life, chronologically, but still learning and finding so much to love!
This info is right on time and in alignment with what I’m currently doing. My aim is to stay in creative mode and shed any resistance to my desires.
Very well put. Thanks
Thank you, Henk, for clarifying it all. Love to hear more from your perspective of creative terms. Looking forward to more of your insightful news!
thank you for all your clearing work and help ‘ to crack the egg’ !
the choice I made is: to be good to myself no matter what is going on.
Think you
I used to live like this and had a tough but so fruitful life I was blessed. I don’t date but M doing it anyway say that I fell I to opposite and allowed others to dominate me….. The most inappropriate others. I lived Nd it was often difficult but I didn’t think I’m terns if mistakes till I came to closer to mt mother and sister and then almost everything I did an have done was described as a mistake.
Heaven help us. I stupidly took valium tablets for no good reason. Too much time on the internet and no human eye contact. It is death while living.
Thank you Henk.
Very well explained and crucially important as you mentioned. Is this Implicit Intent you are referring to the subconscious part of our mind which controls our ‘program’? Keep up the great work!
Thanks Henk, I understand the difference now as I was manipulating not creating. Your email came at such an auspicious time too
Thank you. I have experienced this several times in my life, it works in miraculous ways, the solution comes to you in an unpredictable way and it is the best possible, but only after you let go and stop the struggle. The way things happen always fills me with gratitude and makes me feel loved and cared for. So from the minute I open my eyes in the morning, to the moment I fall asleep in, I hold in my heart these feelings and the Light I sense. My life is beautiful, I love my job, I have a great loving family and we are all healthy. Sure, Life brings lessons too, but I am safe in my home and along with my husband I will enjoy the trip right to the end!
Blessings to all of you!
Great read, digestible, simple if we just allow it. Thank you for sharing. :). Enjoyed other’s comments also.
Hi Henk,
As always ” YOU ARE THE BEST ”
Thanks.
Thank You so much, Henk. you finally explained to me the whole problem I’ve been having with ‘Law of Attraction” programs; I wind up “fighting” for change, and then am surprised, and discouraged when I wound up in worse shape than I was when I started. I somehow deeply felt that most of those authors either didn’t know, or couldn’t explain clearly, that the focus of change has to come from within, in order to realize the outcome. Thanks Again
Amazing article…Thank you so much!
“You Have The Power To Create… NOT Manipulate Many people think that now that they’ve switched to the ‘spiritual’ and are working with concepts like the ‘Law of Attraction’, they’re now taking the more ‘enlightened’ approach to life, because they’re supposedly exploiting the far-reaching ‘powers of the mind.”
How wisely put! And this is where the others fall down: saying that we have the power to manipulate (our circumstances). I love your writings!
Thank you so muck for definition of what is going on in my life!
Lots of joy to you!
Mary
I am strongly feelng that I am on my way to be practically and fruitfully born again. This is how to be the real image of God. I am determined to continously follow all your articles and newsletters.
good stuff thank you…integration
This sure does help. I have manifested a few things I had wanted by just simply asking the Universe. Once asked, I just simply let them go. By doing that I think it really helped by not trying to manipulate them because they manifested in a way I would never had imagined! So I get this, but it still so elusive to grasp at times. I am trying to get living in the creative state at all times. Thank you! Namaste!
Excellent. Thank You. Thank you. Thank you so much.
if implicit intent is just attitude and underlying motivation – which is not specific to anything 3-d but rather more states of being-ness….. what do we do with interests of desires? Would just getting excited about creating them be enough to direct a message to creation?
To be specific – I currently have a job but I want to do something else with my life. I know there is no point to react to it or grump about it BUT…on the same token, if I stay in creative mode and look for ways to enjoy myself even though its not really the job I’d ultimately like to have – wouldn’t that just send a message that I want more of my current job? Does that question make sense?
Yeah, your question makes total sense!
The key thing to realize is this:
While ‘implicit intent’ does indeed have to do with underlying attitude and motivation, that doesn’t mean it’s a totally passive concept:
Attitude and motivation become “real” when they’re actively *expressed,* for example when we take a specific action. (<-- I'll expand on this some more below.) It’s a similar thing with ‘creative mode:’ You’ll want to stay in creative mode *as it pertains to the outcome you seek to realize,* not just for the mere sake of it. Put differently, you don’t merely sit around trying to feel fine and enjoying yourself – you just want to take actions from a creative orientation (rather than a reactive one). Let me elaborate on that with a more practical example: Like you said, you don’t want to keep grumping your existing job and constantly feeling frustrated (“I have to get rid of this damn job”). When you start frantically taking actions from that kind of motivation, your actions will basically reinforce your state of feeling frustrated, and will likely summon experiences that will give you more reason to be grumpy and frustrated. So first order of business is to get into a constructive mindset (<-- i.e. creative mode), and *then* start taking constructive actions from *that* mind frame, so that you'll *actively express* your constructive motivations and attitudes (<-- i.e. your implicit intent). For example, you could begin by defining exactly what kind of job you want. Then as possible actions, you can go out and actively look for them, send (unsollicited) applications to places you think you’ll enjoy working, perhaps create your own “job” by starting some kind of business of your own, or whatever else you can think of or feel inspired to do. That’s acting from *creative* as opposed to *reactive* mode. Now here’s the thing: These actions themselves might not directly lead to what you want (e.g. you may not get a single positive response to an unsollicited application). We don’t need to get hung up on direct cause-and-effect relationships where one particular action leads to a direct result. But in the act of doing all this, you express an “implicit intent” that subtly communicates that you’re looking to manifest a particular kind of new job for yourself that you’re happy with. The actions you take *actively express* your underlying *creative* (as opposed to reactive) attitudes and motivations. And from there you may receive offerings from where you didn’t expect them, or you run into new opportunities you hadn’t thought of or envisioned, or you get particular ideas and inspirations you can pursue. All in all, the “taking action”-part is still essential. The difference lies in the “implicit intent” that your actions *express.* Basically, here’s what to keep in mind when seeking to stay in ‘creative mode’ as it pertains to manifesting your new job: * Your intent should not be to seek to *get rid of* your old job. * Instead, your intent should be to manifest a new reality, part of which is a particular kind of new job that you like. (<-- Your old job is simply no part of it). The second one is an entirely different orientation, with different underlying attitude and motivation. Essentially, in that orientation your current job has become irrelevant. It may be part of your existing reality, and you may keep doing for as long as it’s still necessary. And it may be the original driver for wanting to create a new reality. But in your new orientation, you shift from “I have to get rid of this damn job” to “I’m excited about this new vision for a dream job that I’m going to manifest.” In other words: * You’re not seeking to manipulate your existing reality into a different shape. (<-- "reactive" mode) * You’re seeking to create a new reality. (<-- "creative" mode) Does that make sense?
Thanks for this, it’s a concept I’ve been struggling with that you explained very clearly.
I am seeing so many connections in your work to patterns I’ve noticed in various spiritual and esoteric disciplines. It makes me very curious about the things you’ve studied, and impressed by how you’ve pulled it all together.
Simple but very precise information… Appreciate your sharing this one. A must read article!
Hi Henk
Isa here
I do agree on a deep level. I get the idea. I understand that I have created my reality.
I am stuck on “what do I really want? Maybe asking the question out loud will help!
Can you advise on how to uncover this for oneself
Thank you
Isa
this is very good,I want to learn more and end up manifesting creating power..great stuff..
Thanks for another mind-bending article Henk. This is all fitting in for me with perfect timing. Just before I first saw one of your articles I had realized the need to completely ‘dump’ my existing ideas. I have been trying to renovate an old house for years. Although I saved it from demolition, (6 years of litigation) and have done the major structural work, more remains to be done. I have had an aeroplane crash, heart-attacks (2) and now cancer. Finishing this project may kill me! ENOUGH I SAID!
I have, in the meantime solved 3 major missing-person cases which have been blocked by ‘authorities’. I am a BRILLIANT DETECTIVE, not a builder, renovator, etc. Having to wait while the cancer is shrunk, then removed has kept my mind free to look beyond. Now I see one case being looked at again. I am informed by my Guardian Angel the time will be when I have the operation. All will fall into place then.
I wish I’d known about these things before as many years would not have been wasted and potentially many people could have been found. My future life will show the truth of your words. God bless your efforts in this fascinating field.
I am homeless. I have a block of land. I want to build a house. Creative or reactive?
Hi Dragica, your orientation would be creative as long as you focus is on “bringing the new situation (involving the new house) into being,” (proactively) taking measures to do so.
Basically, as the article put it, you’d evaluate the current status by measuring the extent to which your newly-desired reality has come to pass yet. Reactive would be when your orientation is defined by the opposite question of whether your “current problem has gone away yet.”
In this case, that’s the main difference: being focused at “bringing something new into being” as opposed to being focused at “getting rid of something old.” Hope that makes sense! (Future materials will go deeper into this to offer some additional clarity…)
I have been a follower for years and really appreciate your continued stream of valuable thoughts. And although I have purchased from you in the past, what you offer to so many for free is wonderful. I really loved the article on implicit intent and makes me realize that where I have landed in my pursuit of being and demonstrating the best that a human can be is on the right track. I feel I am in a very good place and certainly your thoughts and courses over the years have been part of that evolution.
Thanks again for all you do.
Charles

You have what it takes to really wake people up to what is real within them making the difference from the start—no sugar coating…just love it and will pass it on!
So you have given a theory but how does that work in real life? Can you give a real world example of what you talk about? For most people it is about debt. I desire to get out of debt and have a wonderful life. People keep saying you have to take action. Ok but give an example of that. I need practical real world illustrations of what that means.
I focus on what I want (more money) but my subconscious isn’t giving me any ‘inspired actions’ to take.
Hi Nick,
Thanks for your comment!
In the context of this particular article (more context is provided in other articles, newsletters and products), note that you’re defining your vision for what you want in terms of your problem:
In your own words, for you it’s “all about debt.” (Along with it you even assume that it’s the same for most people.) From there you define what you want as ‘more money.’
To stay in the terminology of the article: that’s not a creative vision, but rather a reactive one. Refer to the questions provided at the end of the article to see whether you’re in reactive mode or creative mode:
(“Has my old reality changed yet?” vs. “Am I focused on the vision I want to bring into being etc.?”)
Which question does “more money” and “get out of debt” seem an answer to?
While it may appear that “more money” might be a vision of you want to move towards, the underlying motivation of that definition rather implies wanting to move away from your current situation of debt.
(Which is logical, but doesn’t give you much to work with if you want to leverage the principles this concepts is built upon.)
While other articles and materials go deeper into how to put this in practice, here are some pointers in the right direction.
Rather than thinking in reactive terms, begin to think in the creative terms of the second question of being focused on a creative vision. For example:
* Let’s assume you wake up tomorrow and through a miraculous twist of fate the world financial system has been reset and all debt (including yours) has been eradicated…
* What would you be and do then? What would your “wonderful life” look like? How would you feel? How would you speak? How would you act? What does your perfect average day look like?
Defining your vision in those terms makes it creative rather than reactive: it defines what you want to bring into being rather than what you want to manipulate or get rid of. And from there:
* What could you do now as a first step (no matter how tiny and inconsequential it seems) to move into that direction? The first thing that comes to mind is probably a good idea.
This should give you some ideas for how to begin working with these concepts. Again, other articles, newsletters and materials can help you further with this.
Hope this helps!
Yes this is a new approach to the Meaning of Life !
what an eye opening article ., great article. thanks.

Wonderful article. You nailed it on the head. I truly have been resisting my own life and didn’t even know it. Now I know why so many of the prior self-help programs I have tried didn’t pay off all that well. I was manipulating rather than creating and wasn’t even aware of my internal intent. I had made many mistakes in my life and I found out that I’m making those even now. It’s a little bit frustrating when you would think of being close to the top of the mountain, but you don’t really see the top and then you notice that the top is much far from where you are.
The most important thing is that you’re climbing the right mountain.
That’s it.

In lucid dreaming, remote viewing, in the kind of prayer or prolonged meditation such that being physically there in everyday common reality, there’s nontheless the imminence of another reality, you engage without effort in this implicit intent and so gradually get to know the mechanisms of it within your individual psyche. What we have or can achieve here is a merging of the explicit with the implicit and vice-versa. In the cracking of the egg there’s a kind of marriage of the implicit and the explicit. Its a special kind of awakening and fulfilment. In lucid dreaming for instance you become the dream. I’d like to comment that the explicit and the implicit are essentially polar opposites. The process of cracking the egg is therefore by definition one that takes place within the individual psyche.
Thank you very much for sending this to me.

…..As if heavy burden had been lifted off my shoulder….
I am working on Dr Clark’s Inner Bonding. She talks about getting into the “intent to learn” but I haven’t figured out how to do that yet. I have the intent while I’m thinking about it, but as soon as I think about other stuff I’m not in the “intent to learn” anymore. It sounds as if the concept of implicit intent is something similar to her “intent to learn”. So I’ll stay tuned!
What an eye-opening article! This is stuff we all know, but you’ve put it in such away that brings out the subtle differences in daily focus that most of us don’t usually really think about. You are absolutely right in the fact that so many people (thanks in large part to books such as “The Secret”, and so on) have come to see the “Law of Attraction” as little more than another success tool they can put in their little bag of tricks. It goes so much deeper than that.
Fantastic article. Cuts right to the essence of the matter.
I really experience the life I want to lead. But….I require more money to fix my home and travel to far away destinations. I think the lack of money for that is due to the fact that I do not want to exploit the parents of my piano students. According to me the parents already have to pay a lot of money towards their children’s education that I do not want to add to that too much. So, my lack of money is due to my own mindset.
this is a quote from a book “There is a level of creativity that goes far beyond anything we have discussed so far. It dawns when intuition becomes so powerful it must break out into the environment. This “super-intuition” controls events and makes wishes come true, as though an artist is working not in paint and canvas but in the raw material of life. “. What do you think?

Thank you so much! It makes sense and resonates. What a lagniappe of synchronicity this is for me! I’m hungry for more….. Many blessings to you!
Nice. It’s all about BEING really. There’s this sense of liberation when you realize that it’s real and you can’t pretend or ‘force’ your way through. One of the greatest hindrances people have is with time. ‘I need this to work now or how long will it take?’ are some of the most popular questions in people’s minds and affected me for a while before I knew better. Just learn or unlearn to be you and watch your reality change. Great job Henk!
Your article is succinct and certainly explains the vibrational aspect of our lives that drives our decisions, behaviour and creates our ‘reality’, at an individual level, at a systemic level and at a global level. “Actuality” on the other hand, is nature’s balance, most of which we humans are only on the frontier of understanding as Science and Physics, Neuroscience, technology etc evolve and embrace metaphysical aspects. Your article has depth and will be interpretted at individual levels of consciousness that people operate from which is clearly demonstrated by the comments. I enjoyed reading your article; the comments were also interesting reading.
I let you take over the energy as I read the article. I came out of it into another realm.
It’s still expanding in me. This is indeed; a very concrete step. So, I’m gonna take my dog out for a walk in the park and let it blossum. I’m truly grateful.
Thank you so much for this article. I was stuck exactly at this point, not knowing how to go about, feeling confused and this was so elucidating, it was very helpful! I can’t wait for the next article!
Brilliant!!!!!!
Thank you very much for a clear article.
Everything Follows Order – Sometimes the “order” is concealed by our own expectations of what reality is by the paradigm we formed through the collective bulk of information we accumulated during our “formative years” (speaking of the formation of what would become our paradigm of “how life is”, primarily during the time between birth and about 6 or 7 years of age). Henk mentions the model of “Law of Attraction”, as opposed to “Implicit Intent” as being “related, but different”. AND he goes on to say that developing different mechanistic ways to understand and create our reality is great. True! As many people as there are means there are about as many ways to get the “manifesting reality” gig right…or wrong. But, getting it right is what we all want, when we become aware that it is even possible to do so. Our ability to create our reality, to “manifest” our desired reality, will ultimately hinge on Laws and Principles of the Universe that, as Henk points out, are not completely defined or understood at this point. There are fundamentals we know are important elements for creating our reality and for manifesting, and “implicit intent” is certainly one of those things. To begin to identify what our own implicit intent really is, we must start by practicing self observation, and (as ironic as it may seem) that observation must also be based on good knowledge, and basic values and principles that we either know inherently or have learned during our lifetime, preferably during our formative years. Yes, some of us have an inherent knowledge of these things, but others of us have had to learn these things from the world around us, on an intellectual or logical basis, and must work harder to correctly identify our true, deep implicit intent, and then chart the course of our life by learning to correct our implicit intent, as is many times needed (due to incorrect paradigm formed early on), or to “allow” and reinforce our implicit intent as we identify it to be based on “correct” values and principles.
I must say, Henk has a great way of explaining this, and I so enjoy reading and learning from his contributions. I would also like to encourage everybody to be proactive in searching out and reading, watching videos, listening to audios, etc. all you can about creating the life you most desire, as looking at this from a variety of angles will definitely help you to understand the “order” of how things work, and become more proficient at it, even if it isn’t easy to put into an explanation or “step by step” method that anybody can follow. In short, I guess the best way to say this is that there is an intuitive way to understand how “Everything Follows Order”, and you must work at it from many angles if you are not one of the few who have it down as a natural talent. Even the intuition may not come easily for many, but it IS going to develop through your work in this field. Thank you, Henk, for this great addition to my collection of knowledge. I look forward to reading your continuing articles!
This is the most indepth article that I have read on LAW OF ATTRACTION. Unfortunately, as always, those people who want to exploit other people have gotten hold of it. And now they are trying to sell it to us by charging a fee. Implicit Intention without any reactive influence is the key. Thank you for the guidance on this subject. May be you were supposed to be our teacher on this subject?
Awesome just relax, don’t stress and just keep working towards what you want – don’t fight against life. That’s what I got out of it. Cheers for keeping it real
Paul
So amazing. The Truth is finally beginning to unfold. I now know (which is confirmed by this and other articles that you have presented) that the only problem that any of us have is the lack of awareness of our internal environment. I am loving your work.
I must admit, this is the most concise information I’ve read or heard about using the law of attraction, and I’ve read and heard A LOT! Makes the most sense, for sure!! Thanks so much for providing it!
thank you for such a simple explanation, a great read
How about law of karma? that’s the feeling you get that you are not done with something yet. Unfinished businesses and inner workings are powerful obstacles. You have to feel morally right, emotionally ready and physically able… that’s what I think
I agree with what you’ve written here. The problem with the way most people approach the Law of Attraction is a matter of focus and perspective. In order to create a new reality, you have to fully believe that it’s possible, that it will happen in it’s own time, and you have to stay focused on what you’re creating rather than what you’re leaving behind.
It’s also important to understand that any technique we use is merely to change ourselves, which leads to our BEING a different person, who gets a different result.
One of the phrases I use often is:
If you want to HAVE more, you have to BE more.
It’s the foundation of my Keys to Power material as well as the Choose To Believe material.
Thank you. All along I have felt ¨something is missing¨ now I can see what it was.
Yes! And No. I belive all spiritual teachings follow the same path. And I get stuck here. Working out what I really want always ends up an expression of lack. Perhaps when we really accept the totality of who we are, and take off the judgement about who we are, then we won’t want for anything. That’s the implicit intent you mentioned. Thus the highest choice is to live your true nature and purpose, so sit back and see what happens. Sounds good eh,? But it’s still an expression lack. I think I need help!!!
This is the way it has always worked for me. This just confirms that it really does work!
Fantastic article great read more please 🙂
I love your message very inspiring.
To make a choice: I choose to live in a reality that is free from the enslavement of the old mighty buck. I have nothing against money, it is not the money that has created the imbalance. I would love to live in a society that values all people equally. I choose to live in a world in which all members of the human experience are valuable and valued equally regardless of their lot in life. I would love to live in a world in which the money system is in balance with nature. I would love to harmonize the money system to be in balance with the natural flow of the universe. I would love to live in a Universe in which ALL members of society are valued equally. People do not seem to realize the money system is a created system. It was created by man and has divided man it baffles me that this continues with the level of consciousness that the majority of people are at on the planet? We could create a new way of being all that people need do it to choose it. Love and Light, Lorna
I’m looking forward to the rest of your articles on this subject, which is a very different approach to obtaining from life that what we yearn for.
I think you relieve the pressure of “am I doing the right things?, am I doing things right? why I just don’t seem to create that what I want?” and so on…
Good food for thought, Thanks a lot!
Very helpful distinction between explicit and implicit intent and how it is about your state of being. It brings me back to the question, who do I want/need to become when deciding what I want to achieve. Becoming makes achieving easy – as you say, it is your default.
Thank you . This neatly fits with ideas I have found insightful. “The Rules” which can be traced back to “New Thought Movement” which grew around the 1800s to explicitly suggests we are here for a purpose and that purpose is to know who you are. “You will receive a body and like it or not that’s what you get”, “Life is a school with lessons” etc. Well worth finding.
The other is a book, published before Law of Attraction became popular, by Barbara B…….. “You can have anything You Want If Only You Know What It Is” which includes some simple games and exercises that help you uncover your own creative path rather than following one established by the authority figures in your life .
I have mulled over “The Law of Attraction” and your article has helped me to “crack the egg” I wish you well. This is a valuable path to go down and explore and I look forward to the next edition.
Your wisdom is priceless! You have a way of making me understand things i’ve been doing wrong where others can’t. Thank You so much, and please keep it coming.
Nice article. Worth reading.
very interesting….thank you!
hi i been on apth of conntioners i love and beleive i can i seem to have oblestble how do mack the outcome real mary thanks
Very good article…lots to think about!
I get it. On a quantum level, by staying on a creative plane and keeping your intent positive and honourable, you are attracted to (so there is a magnetism- a sort of jumping mechanism if you will) a portal of a new reality. do you agree?
