One of the most often repeated and widely spread buzzwords in the arenas of personal, business and spiritual development is the word ‘success.’
And indeed, ask the average entrepreneur, career-climber or student of life’s mysteries about their prime motivation to seek out personal improvement methodologies, and they’ll tell you they’re doing it to manifest ‘success’ in life.
But then what is ‘success’ really? What does it entail? What makes you ‘successful,’ and what would make you a ‘failure?’
Do you even know? For real?
“That’s easy…” you might say… “We all know what ‘success’ is, right?”
Well, contrary to what you might be inclined to think, it’s really not always that obvious. In fact, it’s a crucially important topic to consider and have a clear concept of, for multiple reasons:
- On one hand, it’s necessary for the sake of getting crystal-clear on what we want out of life, and thus what to focus our energies on… But that’s not all:
- On the other hand, it’s also a prerequisite to our inner alignment; without a clear concept of what ‘success’ is for us, we can’t make sure that we’re fully congruent and that we eliminate all chances of (subtle) self-sabotage in the pursuit of our dreams and aspirations.
- But above all, if we don’t have a solid notion of it, we’ll likely (be it perhaps inadvertently) impose unnatural and unnecessary pressure on ourselves, in a way that often paralyzes the very power and potential we seek to exploit with the aim to materialize the ‘success’ we long for.
So make no mistake:
Embodying the lessons you’re about to learn can make all the difference in your life, and put you on the fast track towards the real, genuine and authentic kind of ‘success 2.0’ you’re after, and that may just transcend your wildest imaginations.
So let’s dig into it…
‘Success 1.0:’ A Dead-End Street…
As we begin our exploration, consider this for a moment:
When you think of success, what’s the first image that comes up for you?
For most people it would be some image of what’s collectively decreed to be the ‘material dream,’ which is no surprise:
Our contemporary societies tend to constantly stimulate, entice and exploit our five senses of seeing, hearing, tasting, touching and smelling, thus implicitly urging us to focus predominantly on the more material expressions of what are typically considered the essentials of ‘success.’
Material goods then become the yardsticks to measure the extent to which we’re ‘successful,’ and compare our status relative to others. And this quickly makes us define ‘success’ as our ability to flash more fancy goods, luxury items and money than other people.
And indeed, for reasons that will become clearer as we progress through this article, this notion of ‘success’ is constantly reinforced by a daily bombardment of advertising campaigns that underline this very motivation.
Others, however, don’t necessarily share the concept of ‘success’ as our status on the modern-day ‘monkey rock,’ perhaps out of recognizing the many miserable millionaires and concluding that apparently “money and fame do not necessarily happiness make.”
And whether it’s out of fear, jealousy, guilt, resentment, religious directives, rebellion, or something else, some people actually adhere to an image of ‘doing well in life’ that’s rather the polar opposite, taking the supposed ‘moral high ground’ by opting for a righteous kind of frugality.
Now don’t get me wrong:
- Essentially, there’s nothing inherently wrong at all with either of these types of focus. In fact:
- This is not judgment of anyone’s image of success and a rewarding and fulfilling life. And whether it’s material riches, frugality, or anything in between for that matter, it’s all fine to pursue… provided that one condition is met (<– and you’ll learn what it is in the remainder of this article).
- So instead of a judgment, this is rather an invitation to explore what’s really driving us underneath our superficial pursuits, and to make sure we don’t fool ourselves by (inadvertently) investing our precious energies in ventures that neither empower us, nor bring us the sense of ‘success’ we seek.
Because when we take a moment for some honest introspection, we allow ourselves to discover what our orientations really say, and how we may unconsciously direct our creative energies completely differently from how we consciously think…
In fact, as it turns out, most of us invest our energies in such a way that we inadvertently recreate the very types of circumstances we really seek to get out of.
And this is a subtle trap that goes unnoticed for most people…
The Trap Unseen
To elaborate more on this subtle ‘trap,’ let’s pick one of the most popular objects of focus as a ‘vehicle’ (<– pun intended) for doing so.
The phenomenon of the automobile has almost become an object of total obsession in many branches of personal and spiritual development. Apparently, for some people the epitome of harnessing their creative powers is the ability to ‘attract’ a fancy car.
So have you ever wondered about what happened along the evolution of humankind that made a tin can on wheels such a symbol of advanced personal and spiritual development?
It’s a fascinating topic to explore. Let me tell you a quick story that does a good job of illustrating the point I’m trying to make:
What this little account above illustrates, is the relativity of concepts like ‘success:’ what one person considers to be dignified, could be considered by the next person as pathetic.
As I mentioned before, the trap is not so much in material riches or (righteous) frugality in and of themselves, or anything that lies in between for that matter.
The problem lies somewhere else…
And to see it for the problem that it is (<– so that we can subsequently transcend it), there’s no way around having to get real with ourselves.
Getting Real
We may not always realize it, but most of us mindlessly go along with a way of evaluating the question of whether or not we’re “doing well” in life that’s entirely dictated and imposed by our community and/or direct environment.
We just take whatever concept that is for self-evident, don’t give it any further thought, and mindlessly assume that what’s collectively decreed to be ‘success’ is what we’re supposed to want.
For example, most modern-day governments and societies assess a large deal of their ‘success’ based on the measure of ‘economic growth,’ implying that if the economy doesn’t grow, we’re supposedly in trouble.
That’s because our contemporary economical system thrives on consumption and the constant expansion of it. And the more we’re collectively able to consume, the more we’re considered to be ‘successful.’
As a result (in part), most of us automatically take on this belief by osmosis – and not surprisingly, because pretty much all we ever hear is that we have to buy more stuff… and not just to keep up with the Joneses, but almost as our actual ‘moral responsibility’ to keep the economy going.
But like we’re doing in this article with our overall, individual concept of ‘success,’ have you ever considered what ‘economic growth’ really is?
The term merely implies that there’s more money in circulation than before. That’s all there’s to it. Now think about that some more:
- This means that if we (individuals and governments alike) borrow more money that we don’t have in order to acquire fancy stuff that’s supposed to testify to others of our alleged ‘success,’ we’ve contributed to the growth of the economy.
- Likewise, when the weapons industry sells more of their product, it gives an impulse to economic growth.
- And by the same token, when the turnover in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry increases, this makes yet another contribution to the expansion of the economy.
But ask yourself:
When things like that happen, is that really ‘success?’ Think about it:
- Why do we (governments and individuals alike) need to borrow more money in the first place? Apparently we can’t make it work on our own. Is that ‘success?’
- Why do we need more weapons to start with? Apparently, there’s more fear and chaos in the world and bigger and dirtier wars to fight. Is that ‘success?’
- And why do we need more medicine and treatment in the first place? Apparently, more people are getting ill… Is that ‘success?’
When we get real, that can’t be the essence of what we’re really looking for… neither individually, nor collectively.
But mind you:
That certainly doesn’t mean we should all shift towards the other end of the spectrum and opt for righteous kind of frugality, as if the ‘moral high ground’ and/or ‘being spiritual’ equals being poor, living in a dump, and having no desires and aspirations in life.
That’s an equally ridiculous definition of ‘success.’ After all:
- At present, money is still an important means of energy and value exchange in the world, and is really not the root cause of misery on our planet, just as little as it’s the true source of our power.
- So who benefits if we use our righteousness about money and wealth to disempower ourselves by depriving ourselves of the very empowering instrument that could cause the ‘righteous’ visions and changes we like to see in the world to happen through us?
No one does, so that has as little to do with real ‘success’ as conspicuous materialism or any other pursuit that we don’t essentially agree with and/or that leaves us to feel empty in the end. Surely that can’t be the essence of what we’re really looking for either.
So long story short:
When we get real, what then is the real key when it comes to ‘success?’
The Key To Real Success
To repeat:
There’s nothing wrong with having a lot of money, or being well-known, or having fancy cars and big mansions. Like everything else, these are all just ‘thought fields’ and experience. (<– This is more thoroughly explained in the training PDF that comes with Session 2 of the free Crack Your Egg Introduction Course.)
But so many people get absorbed in pursuing the material ‘dream,’ that they forget about why they’re doing so in the first place.
A friend of mine used to say:
“Most people are so busy trying to make a living, that they forget to make a life.”
Look around, and you’ll see that most of us are ‘human doings’ (or ‘human-not-doings’) more than we are ‘human beings.’ In other words, life lives us, rather than the other way around.
Likewise, there’s nothing wrong with frugality if our preference is to lead a simple(r) life. Nor is there necessarily something amiss in anything that lies in between these two extreme examples.
But getting real forces us to dig deeper into ourselves, and may as such lay bare not only the potential misdirection of our pursuits, but also our deeper, underlying motivations along with it.
And when we do so honestly and genuinely, the crux of the matter reveals itself:

The real problem begins when we allow others (<– people and institutions alike) to impose their (often blindly accepted and equally misdirected) images of ‘success’ on us, and we consider their evaluations the verdict on whether we ‘made it’ in life or not.
So whatever it is you think you want – whether it’s a lot of money, a big mansion, a fancy car, a simple(r) life, a business of your own, making a particular kind of contribution to the world, anything – the real question is:
- Why do you want it?
- What’s the underlying motivation?
If it has anything to do with living up to someone else’s expectation or imposed vision for what we should or are supposed to be or do, then what we think is the ‘success’ we want is merely the ‘success’ we think we’re supposed to want.
And as such, it’s not an uncorrupted expression of our own creativity, but rather a statement in reaction to something or someone else.
And here’s the real crux of the issue:
In the very act of adhering to that image, we implicitly disempower ourselves in multiple ways:
- We put our sense of self-worth at the mercy of other people’s approval or disapproval.
We’ll look to others to confirm on our behalf whether we’re ‘doing well’ or ‘being successful.’And when we don’t succeed in their terms, we often consider ourselves a ‘failure’ because we don’t meet the externally imposed standard that may have never even really been our own.
- Enough will likely never be enough.
We’ll probably never feel satisfied and ‘successful’ because we’ll keep looking to others for a kind of approval that we can only give ourselves.
And in turn, this goes on to define the entire atmosphere around our implicit orientation. Simply put:
- Don’t expect to “effortlessly attract” it if it’s merely something your father wanted for you.
- Don’t think you’ll “easily manifest” it if it’s only something your family expects of you.
- Don’t assume you’ll “magnetically draw it toward yourself” if you’re merely trying to live up to an image of what your community decrees you’re supposed to be.
- Don’t suppose the path will be laid out for you by some greater power if you actually have to force yourself to commit to certain norms solely because they were imposed on you, or since they’re ‘normal’ in your immediate community.
- Don’t expect a big reward merely because some guru says it’s the right road to travel.
- Don’t count on a comfortable life experience if you constantly have to look outside yourself for confirmation and approval from others about whether you’re “doing well” in life or not.
If we do, we can try as we might by throwing a ton of positive affirmations, visualizations, subliminal messages, ‘success thinking MP3s’ and subtle rationalizations at our minds to try and convince ourselves that they’re really our own desires.
But our whole pursuit fails from the outset, because none of that will cancel out the fundamentally reactive (and thus non-creative) orientation we subcommunicate through the very act of living up to an externally imposed image of what we’re supposed to be and our need for confirmation and approval of others.
Either way, we’ll never be fully congruent; part(s) of us will be misaligned from our own authenticity, and we’ll never be able to fully invest our whole self in it. And so whatever we seek to ‘manifest’ will likely be an exercise in futility, or at best a practice of exhaustion.
Surely, true success (<– ‘Success 2.0’ that is…) must feel differently, right?
Indeed, it does…
Conclusion: What Is ‘Success 2.0?’
In the end, what we really seek is not ‘success’ or ‘happiness’ like many people think, but ultimately boils down to an ongoing sense of genuine, durable fulfillment that comes from being able to live life on our own, authentic terms.
That’s when our restless quest ends. And the only way to experience that on a continuous basis is to have an unyielding sense of inner congruence, rather than a constant need to fill (supposed) holes and alleviate pains and pet peeves.
This kind of success doesn’t require a particular end result… although the end results we think we seek usually do spring from this kind of congruence as a natural by-product.
Neither does it necessarily have to involve a specific activity (<– such as a particular kind of job, a certain form of altruism, or a distinct type of role).
After all, we can express our own passion and unique brand of creativity in many different ways, through many different professions, and many different roles. (<–In fact, the same profession, role, job etc. can be performed in many different ways and with many different underlying values, mentalities, attitudes and motives.)
It’s the fundamental inner congruence that’s essential, which allows us to fully invest all of ourselves in the things we do… whatever they are. This creates an unyielding sense of congruence and fulfillment that Ralph Waldo Emerson meant when he described ‘success’ as follows:
From that state of congruence, we’ll be in charge. That’s when we start to live life, as opposed to letting life live us.
Success, in that sense – ‘Success 2.0’ that is – can only be one thing for you:
What you – and you alone – define it to be.
And here’s how to get there…
Where To Go From Here?
The first step is to stop pursuing and/or adhering to images strictly because your community (<– whatever people and/or institutions that includes) considers that to be an accurate depiction of success.
So whatever images of success you hold in mind now, ask yourself:
- Am I being honest with myself, or am I merely trying to live up to someone else’s expectations? (<– Even if that ‘someone’ is a certain group, institution, supposed ‘higher power,’ etc.)
- Do I agree with these images of success, or is it merely to fill supposed a sense of lack, or to live up to an externally imposed image that I can’t really find, let alone invest myself in?
- Does holding on to them create a constructive atmosphere around myself, or does it create unnatural, artificial, paralyzing pressure?
And from a more practical standpoint, ask yourself:
- What kind of experience makes me feel fulfilled on a durable basis? And:
- What exactly is it that I’m being and/or expressing when I feel totally fulfilled and completely self-expressed?
Make no mistake: this is a deep question and may require some serious contemplation and introspection. Or it may be blatantly obvious for you, like it is for some people.
But whatever comes up for you, find ways to embody that on a more continuous (or at least more regular) basis in all the various roles you have in life.
This way, you will build the inner congruence that’s the basis for the kind of success that’s real, genuine and authentic for you…
And here’s what’s so ironic:
- A true and genuine sense of abundance will result from it. And from this state, it suddenly turns out to be a lot easier to manifest even the kinds of luxurious wealth and resources you may currently (falsely) assume to be the prerequisites of ‘success.’
- The difference will be that your ‘success’ will no longer depend on them, as they’ll longer be obsessions, imaginary and ever-moving finish lines, or supposed end objectives of your pursuits.
- Instead, they’ll be the natural by-products of an authentic sense of ‘congruence,’ ‘success’ and ‘abundance’ that you embody on a continuous basis.
- And you’ll be able to enjoy and ‘summon’ them in a playful fashion as means to self-expression and the fulfillment that comes with it… just not as essentials that are supposed to fill gaps and testify to others of your alleged ‘success.’
This way, you’ll no longer be in pursuit of success and fulfillment anymore. (<– This state of ‘being in pursuit’ will only manifest – and thus perpetuate – a reality of being in pursuit and on the path towards it.)
Instead, you’ll already be there. And from there you’ll allow things to come into being and be drawn into your orbit, rather than remaining stuck in a perpetual chase.
It’s a small difference in perception and attitude, but one with truly profound effects… as you’ll see.
It takes any unnecessary and unnatural pressure off that used to be (self-)imposed, which in turn makes you produce a whole different kind of ‘music,’ and dance to an entirely different kind of ‘tune’…
… a tune that – when given the chance to be heard – will ultimately manifest the true, genuine and authentic success you really seek (even if that includes material riches or a simpler existence).
So do the exercises outlined above, and go make it happen, whatever ‘Success 2.0’ is for you.
And don’t let anyone – including yours truly – distract you or tell you otherwise!
P.S. Together we can make a difference – please share this article with others and leave a comment:

Money, cars, mansions, private jets, a ‘look-at-us-being-all-conspicuous-flashing-our-cash’-polaroid…
What’s the implicit message?
‘Success’ is when we can show off to others how (supposedly) significant we are by means of mentioned items.
At first glance this stuff seems so obvious. I’m aware, quite recently I might add, of my tendency to do things to impress other people. Sure I like having money. Yes I enjoy living in a nice house. The thing is this. The quality if the experience is all filtered through the 4″ of grey matter we all have between our ears.
Every single experience we have is 100 % subjective and as such is completely within our control. Only you can decide how you will interpret any experience that you have.
Once this is recognised on a deep and meaningful level then we start to design the expereinces that we really crave….
This is great and thought provoking stuff and is at once simultaneously common sense and arcane science.
Keep it coming,
Mike
so aptly and succintly worded and expressed. You rock!
since reading your ebooks, and embracing your lessons, I have been on our nation’s biggest television show and am now working on Oprah and Ellen.
I am focused on my message, what it means to others and how to word it so people can benefit and improve their lives.
I am a hormone expert and recently found that 85% self reported having a hormone problem. Much driven by stress, some poor food selection and many lack of exercise. But the basis is understanding one’s real needs, desires and mission.

Also check FREEDOM. As in “Slap it out of her hand”. You know “from the drugstore man”.
The entire record was his last, sort of, and if you ask anyone who knew him they would tell you he was maybe the nicest person they ever met. Wish I were a fraction. This isn’t a plug but I came across Robert Plants “The Mighty Re-arranger”. Wow. I’m 55 and it’s hard to find music I really like. New CD coming out 9/14/2010. He’s grown way past LZ. So refreshing! Hope someone likes it, but do your mind and soul a favor and listen to one of the JH cd’s above just once. These are so organized and beautiful [also see ANGEL and DRIFTING]. Ever since I was a boy, I always fascinated and interested in those kind of productive and educative talks. I really like your point of views on everything that you discuss on this site. I’m learning quite a bit about alot of things Ive never heard of before since I discovered this website in which I would classified as nugget of gold. I very like this topic on success. I feel that everything you convered on being success is true. I normally don’t like to read, but I read your reports because they make a lot of sense and you keep it interesting.
Question: What is the meaning of life?
Answer: Wrong question!
The question IS “WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE?”
Nobody,Sometime
You need to go back and look at the basic thing about success – the alpha male in society that ruled for so long. And it was important because it was so hard and so many children died. We haven’t figured out yet what the equity of sexes really means. It doesn’t matter how much you have or don’t have. If you look at all the sit coms we have not worked it out and when you see how many women in Africa are being abused, you have to ask yourself, what is this. And until we work this out and why men want to go to war, you won’t figure anything out about success.
Thaks dear
you are always a big support to me
I have been looking for a true meaning of success and you’ve got a good one here. Well done Henk! I will pass this onto those close to me. cheers
Love yourself first. BE THE LOVE OF YOUR OWN LIFE!!!
Hello Henk,
Your wise observations about what is truly valuable and how our materialistic society has blinded so many people to the truth, will surely help many see their own true worth.
I’m fortunate in not having any desires for fancy cars, big houses, etc. I have a few wealthy friends who seem to think that their elaborate homes and expensive cars somehow add to their self-worth. They always seem under pressure to impress others with these things.
If I presently had that much wealth I would still drive ny 2001 Camry and live in a nice, but not huge home. In fact, I would like to manifest multi-millions of dollars for starting a foundation to assist giving grants to individuals and organizations dedicated to promoting peace and justice in our world where greed has perpetuated unnecessay wars and the death, destruction, misery and waste that have taken our country into moral and fiscal bankruptcy.
I write and illustrate stories (People say they are “like Dr. Seuss stories with powerful, important messages.”) which I am visualizing as being published with great success in sales.
It opened my mind for new vision
#87 doesn’t appear that anyone posted anything to help you. Coincidentally I am in the same boat. I’ve let go of this man, who says that I am his soulmate, however I left him so many times because I did not feel that he wanted marriage and a family like I did but he kept on coming back. He even lied to me to get me to marry him and now after the lie, I wanted a divorce but he says that he wants to stay married and we separated but he just can’t live without me. Wants us to continue to maintain separate residences (as we both own our homes) as he feels claustrophobic at my home and his home is not adequate for me. I am happy now and now that I served him with divorce papers he wants to once again attempt to live together, I am torn, for I am happier without him but I also love him. Anybody out there with comments as to why two people who love each other so much are being pulled away by family members and the male just doesn’t follow through with promises that he makes and only makes me feel used in the process.
Tks
Henk, thank you so much for all the wonderful free ‘stuff’ you give to us all. My concern is not with material things but with my soulmate. I know he loves me as much as I love him but every time we get close he pulls away again as he is afraid of committment. This has caused me endless pain and the irony is I know he is in as much pain as me. I visualise etc. but the thing I find the most difficult is the ‘letting go’. I find myself getting completely lost in anyalising and trying to fix things. He is in my mind 24 7 and I just can’t stop loving him. If there is anything anyone can advise to help me I would be very grateful.
Thank you again and may God bless you all.
First, to be happy and free you got to be you…Freedom and Happyness run on five pillars wealth: Physical, Relational, Spiritual, Mental and Emotional and as Arthur Ray from the Secret said, it is the harmony of all them simultaneously that help you create the real you and manifest the life you choose to live. Happyness is a practice, Peace is a practice, Success is a practice…write down your goals and aspirations ( not what someone has…) visualize and think it is true for you. State what ( Dreams ) you want and why and how ( Plan & actions ) you are going to get it. Thank yourself for the bold dream.
It took me more than 40 years to get this and once you understand, it is fun time for the rest of you life. You can attract anything of greater good in your life and also misery…oops, be careful man, change your thoughts when there are not good or don’t serve you. Here are some tips: 1-don’t complain or be upset by things or any one for a week and continue for 41 days and write about it. 2- Write down your goals, be thankful for attitude of gratitude…I stop here
What have I attracted in my life that is giving me complete satisfaction: the place I live now is for retired actors and artists and I am one of the first people to move in because they could’t fill the place. I got the subsidies as well. For two months, I will drive down that neighbourhood park my car and walk in front of the building as if Iive there. I even took a picture of the place and displayed it on my computer screen. Even one time the security guard spotted me and asked whether I live in the area and pointed at it and he said: don’t put your hopes up. I replied; I already did. Okay! for the car I am driving now blew me away…I used to drive a beat up 1970 Astro Van, you know what I mean. My friend suggested I lease a new car and get rid of the old. I did, it’s been since 1998, I have peace of mind, I use it for work and sometime my job rents it for film shoot and pay me extra. It’s a tax write off…oops! supose to be a secret….bottom line, the answer is you my friend….cheers…
What the Great said about people stealing his positve energy! This is also happening to me. I find it to be very disturbing. I am investigating the phenomena, through my meditation. It seems that certain people are able to do this and others not! I also think it happens because of openings in our physical body, like our chakras being too open! We have to look very carefully how to find the leakages and close the openings down. It’s very hard work but very worthwhile. Hope this helps a little.
Hi,
could you explain what “inside you” and “Yourself” mean?
“In order to know more, do more, and be more we must have more; we must have things to use, for we learn, and do, and become, only by using things. We must get rich, so that we can live more.”
Wallace Wattles
have wiped my ‘wish list’ clean. This ‘ride’ gave me a permanent job, (better than the one I wanted), A snippet of country life, I always dreamed of and my family are happier than they have been in a long time, another grandchild due before xmas and 1 daughter engaged to be married. The ride of my life may have ended my life and I would have missed out on my future.I know I wished, prayed, visualised, attracted and manifested this into my life. All of it. I have been very careful in what my wishes have contained and I have been very specific about what I required.
This is a classic matrial for everyone in this matrialistic world. Africans are going serious hardsips because everyone sees sucess as power, fame, children, worth, cars, mansions and other things. Therefore, the actual happiness that one need is not there. An African can kill his or her fellow African for matrial success. I think that Africans need to be taught on how to define things. Our Success should leads us to true happiness.
wonderful,i always wanted to bring revolution in peoples mind, this gave so clarity with my science it is really wonderful.I expect music and e book which will work directly with subconsious
Nice! I enjoy the balance you create with your writings. I believe that is were so much of our experience of success is realized, in the balance of lifes frequencies. I have had the experience of a lot of stuff and it overwhelmed me and cost me a great deal of happieness. That of itself sent me the grand message of being willing to take responsability for the abundance I have. If my success does not benefit others, how can it really benefit myself? We can never be the destination of successfulness we can only be the channel for it. My greatest success has been helping others succeed.
once again I so enjoy your writings
Dave
hi ! i m deepak 4m india, i want to make huge money pl guide me. thanks.
If everybody started to understand this, they would realise the validity of the saying, “other folks have other pokes.”
It would make it far easier for everyone to get on together. At present, the “achievement for achievement’s sake” (AFAS) people distrust those who are happy when they have sufficient to do their own thing. The AFAS are certain that the rest want exactly the same as them, but are doing a sneaky, so they make it unnecessarily hard for others, for no reason. This niggles the others, who fight back, disrupting the AFAS, which, to them, proves the truth of their original idea.
Result: everyone niggling away, nobody reaching their desired potential, the present rubbish unsatisfactory way of life.
Many Thanks to Henk for Defining human sucess as ‘Being Human’ .. I suppose this they have chosen vis a vis ‘Doing Human’ in the sense that the latter means the speicific acts … which not necessarily rule out the possibilities of them even being nor so ‘intentional /willful or genuine’ but be istances of pretentions and hypocracies or even due to the fear of socil censuring’…all of which do not give the doer ‘a sense of success’.
‘Being human; [not mere huminitarian in the sense of mercy and empathy in the contexts of a failed human-state but In all Human Fairness in general] as Henk defines it is indeed a real good parameter of human sucess as it implies the spontaneity of ‘Self and Other Cognition’ in terms of Live and Let Live..and Thrive and Let Thrive.
May they be Penning more Wise Words to the Save humanity from current scary and tragic defeat and self-defeating tendencies
We’ll see. I am very skeptical after reading similar info over the past 20 years. Yes even way back before the WWW, but on the Internet with Compuserve.
I believe dear Henk, that happiness is a state of mind, an exact formula of vitamins, aminoacids, oxigen, and liquids, that creates a certain alchemical state of mind, called happiness.
The body is made basically of four elements 3/4 water, calcium and minerals from the rocks or the mud, oxigen that regenerates the cells, and heat that gives cohesion to the body, the lack of any of these elements will cause an unbalance of the metabolism, that will generate a negative way of thinking or a low frequency brain wave length, that at the same time will generate an unpleasant or uncomfortable state of mind called unhappiness, so if you make comunion with the angels of mother earth (so to speak) the four elements, by oxigenatig, hydrating, covering your body with mud, and sun bathing, you will achieve this ideal state of mind, called happiness because you will start to vibrate at the same tenor than the one that gave us life, and no body can return our physical and mental health to us than the one that created our physical bodys, mother planet earth.
At the same time we will generate all the things that we consider positve by the law of attraction, like wealth, well in theory we will atract all the things that we consider part of success, so there for, if you have achived the happy state of mind, you’ll be happy sitting in a puddle of mud with flys all over your face, and at the same time if you have not achieved that state of mind, you’ll be very unhappy even in a crystal palace surrounded by the most beautiful maidens.
So the definition of success is more like a state of mind I would say.
thankyou Henk for this oportunity to express my self.

THANK you for this subtle, SIGNIFICANT distinction… Be, Successfully…
Again, thank you! 😀
I recently became aware of your materials. I downloaded the free books. I have read a few of your articles. You have made so many things clear for me. I look forward to learning more and sharing with friends and family.
Thanks,

All good stuff that we should know. We chase money and cannot find it, When we let go of chasing money and live a life of building wealth, thats when it all begins. The seen, the seear and the seeing become one with the universe. Money is intangible and is just numbers. Wealth is TANGIBLE and is a life style of integrity, patience, love and living our values.. Work at being the best at what you do and especially what you like to do and the rest will materialize. Time = Growth = Volume = Money = Freedom! When you help enough people get what they want you get everthing you want. Its all about giving value to people. The law of compounding and compensation eventually catch up with you, When it presents itself you wonder where the money was hiding! Pretty cool ha! None of this is mine i am just repeating what has already been written, Its a process of duplication. The rich get richer, its a proverb.. i love my life Louie Apsokardu
It’s amaizing how you have simply put accross the idea of true happyness by emphasising on examples which are is to understand.Whatever it is you serve man kind by opening their eyes to reality in terms of ” law of attraction”.You may be blessed by the universal energy and power for sucess.

To read the letter and the comments: One comment said: How can I be happy, when I do not have what I wish? Another is getting happiness together with monetary success!
Happiness is a habit one can choose. Even when things are terribly bad, one can be happy. I am living with pain for years and am not doing great financially, and still I am happy. I am very busy, but see from my window how a tree changes it’s colors from green to broun and yellow. It is beautiful.I am looking forward to prepare dinner little later, to make the dish look nice on the plate and I will light a candle, which gives a warm light. I like my work and since I began my website 2 months ago there is very much to do. I am little older and still I am having many goals and wishes and focus on getting my wishes into my reality.
Several years ago I choose to be happy, I enjoy every day and even when things are not so easy I am in a good mood. I wish all to find the easy way to happiness. It has nothing to do with having your wishes already fulfiled or to be rich. You are happy or not. Choose to be happy.

Some time ago I came across a beautiful home for sale on the internet. I instantly fell in love with the picture. Everything I ever ‘wished’ for. Without even a second thought I offered to purchase this. I didn’t even take the two hour drive needed to look at it for real. Incredibly my offer was accepted and then the ‘ride’ began. I have dreamed and wished all my adult life for this to come to fruition and now it has. (Or so I thought). I proceeded with paperwork and the such. I had the ball rolling within the first week of seeing this place (on the computer). Then one night I dreamed I was walking through this exact house. When all was said and done and my time had come to seek approval for finance, that is when the ‘ride’ began to get bumpy! As soon as I received approval I instantly was refused. I didn’t work in the country. I worked in the city and it was too far to travel. SO I began looking for a job in the country, ‘luckily’ I found one in the next town from the house. Another ‘wish’ fulfilled. I happened to apply as one woman was leaving. I happily gave up my job in the city without another thought and then realised I hadn’t secured a home in the country. The tables turned, I now had a job but no home, still no finance approval. I rang the owners of ‘my home’ and requested to rent. ‘No’. was the response. Ok it all fell through.
Not so quick to dismiss this I then took a drive to the property that I had ‘missed out on’ . It took my breath away. It was much more than the picture revealed. Absolutely beautiful. I just wanted to cry. I rang the owners again and asked if I could rent. Again ‘No’ was the response. I sadly hung up and sighed. ‘At least I tried’, I said to my partner. Then as we were leaving town, the phone rang, it was the owners asking if I wanted a walk through, I jumped at this even knowing it wasn’t going to be mine. It was great ‘everything I ever wished for’. Exactly as I had dreamed. On the way home the owners rang again, they offered me to rent the property if I re-applied for finance to buy. I was soooo happy. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. I was so much closer to owning this dream. I moved in with my children and began renting, going to work at my new job and settling my children into their new school. I re-applied for finance, it was refused, I had to be in my job 3 mths before finance would be considered, as I had left my job in the city after over a year of employment.
Ok. I had the job, the house (rented) and 3 months to wait. The owners were happy to wait the period out with me. I felt so lucky! After 3 months passed I re-applied for finance. This time it was approved subject to evaluation. In the meantime I was living my dream, but my application was refused yet again as it came back under evaluated. So I climbed back onto the ride again and when the offer of a lesser amount was accepted I re-applied for finance. Little did I know that the evaluator had an accident on the way home and this caused lengthy delays, yet again. I forgot to mention this was taking place over the xmas period so hence more delays, once my application was submitted I was told there had to be an Engineer’s report to state the sturdiness of such an old house as cracks were revealed in the walls.
Well this was carried out and it was then that the truth was revealed I was refused again but this time it was for my own good. The report revealed that the property was too old and it was ready to collapse. All along I thought the delays were being caused to make me stronger, make me more patient and to learn endurance. These weren’t the only lessons I learnt from this experience.
The Engineer stated these exact words to me. ‘YOU DO HAVE SOMEONE WATCHING OVER YOU, BUT IT’S NOT TO BUY THIS HOUSE, IT IS TO NOT BUY THIS HOUSE’. ‘IT IS A DEATH TRAP’. I couldn’t believe what the truth of the matter was until now … ALWAYS Be Careful What You Wish For (you may just get it all and then some you don’t want).
I am now the proud owner of my own home in the country. It has everything I’ve ever wanted. One which in fact includes all the ‘extras’ we were going to add to the first one. I have wiped my ‘wish list’ clean. I feel I have bought this into my life just by believing anything is possible. I am probably the happiest woman in the world. Anything that comes along with these fulfilled wishes, I feel I can deal with, no questions asked. I am where I am supposed to be at this time in my life. God has answered my prayers so I believe myself to be worthy of his grace. No matter what we do in our lives it’s not who we know, not where we’ve been but how we lived.
Yes! I do believe I can control my manifestations, but due to Hank and Nickolas I have learnt many new techniques. Yes! I do believe in angels. I have one sitting on my shoulder. This proves it without a doubt.
Thank You for sharing this with me.

Nice post!
At the moment what we call as myself is not truly me. It is all full of fancy ideas and opinions about the world I learnt using the five senses in the name of of education, culture etc. While I carry this ideas and opinions about the world it will be very hard to find happiness. I need to activate something else above this five 5 senses to find out the true happiness and live a happy life. Once you go above the 5 senses then you could even live in hell and nothing will affect you. The question is how do we go above the 5 senses. It is called Yoga.
I think this article is talking about how we can be reinstated into the condition of happiness we knew as children. If you read the ideas of Morty Lefkoe he thinks we all picked up beliefs from our parents. They didn’t always treat us right: asked us to go away; didn’t listen to us; didn’t have time for us, and these behaviours made us feel unimportant, undeserving etc. To make up for feeling these uncomfortable things we look for things that can give us a momentary feeling of importance: car, house, girlfriend (maybe). The feelings never last though and we are left with those uncomfortable beliefs we picked up from the way we were treated as children. So, according to Lefkoe the only way to be reinstated into happiness – or at least to be free from the beliefs that are making our lives miserable – we must change the beliefs we currently hold. He has a method for that.
dear Henk
Thanks a lot for your wonderfull true articles. Though I ‘m trying to find the universal law better and deepper, your words opend my mind more. I could get rid of stress and learned to live happily and making positive thoughts . I also belive that everything is possible and it depends on ” What we bleave and what we imaggin”. Beside on , I’m allways teaching my dears and friends how to live happily and save their safty and how to love whatever exist so that to think that every existence is a miracle in this world.
thank you for every thing and wish you ajoyfull life
This is Good. We need to live inside out. What is inside is more powerful than outside. The 5 senses are only 10%. About the other 90%? The Subconscious Mind. We need to inprint and control our Subconscious, it does not choose, bad or Good, and will work with what it receives. So Positive anffirmation before sleeping is VERY important.
Thax . Richard.
You are right on target! Most so called rich men today are actually poor in the real sense. If you have to cheat, kill and fight just to be rich, then you are truly poor. Wealth is a mental and spiritual affair. There is no need to grab and fight because there is no scarcity of blessings. The whole earth is full of the glory of God. BUT WE NEED TO SEE. WE MUST BE AWAKE! regards.
Thank you for this article. It has thought me alot, first is that success is what you define to be yourself not what other people say and that sense of security,self-esteem and success is found not from other people but within ourselve. you have change my perception of success.
Thank you to Henk :
Your article was just what I needed right now. I also really appreciate all the posts and the people who wrote them. I needed a reminder of where I am and where I am going and WHY I am going there. Live is about joy, whatever it takes to get you there. I needed to be reminded that I am responsible for my happiness and that I had given that power away to someone else. Thank you.
Thanks for the reminder. Like that old saying: Wherever you go, there you are. Even if we move to a better neighborhood, drive a better car, have six figures in the bank, we still have to live with who we are, and our fears, disappointments, and insecurities. The kingdom of heaven is within. If we cannot find our personal heaven, no material possession — or “perfect” person — can substitute for it. Thanks for all you do.
first of all thank you for sending the mails .they are inspiring ,helpful and i always look forward to receiving them.your mails have also been eye-openers to me .what you say is true success really is what one defines it to be .
Thank you so much for those words of truth. The recent tragic passing of Michael Jackson, one of the world’s greatest entertainers and whose music touched so many people through so many generations is testimony to the fact that money and material wealth do not necessarily bring happiness. I hope that he has obtained the peace and happiness which he craved in his astral home. I am learning so much from your news letters and I sence a welcome change in my spiritual outlook already. You have lifted my cloud of ignorance and ideology and exposed me to a new dimension of truth peace and happiness. Thank You!!!
SPENCER
Thank You for these words of wisdom and truth. As most of us reading, I am on the journey of my lifetime.
After finally unlocking the key to my subconscious I am in the process of reprogramming the very essence of who I am.
I always thought someone was looking out for me…as i am an artist and business owner, I never thought i could have it all AND I never ASKED…until now!
The beautify of this is I am becoming who I truly am AND watching as my dreams become a reality.
My motto is “be happy where you are and watch where it takes you”
Appreciation + Love = Total Happiness
Love & light!

Dear Henk: A lot that you said makes a lot of sense. I just want enough money so that I will not have to work for any one else again , or work at all for that matter. My intentions are to help as many people that i can, and be where ever I want to be and do. Material things are not my main goal because to much stuff just blinds my site not to mention all the care that it takes to keep it all in good shape. You see if I own something I must take care of it so I do not need a bunch of stuff. Being as happy as I can possibly be makes me feel great, but one thing has been happening in my life is that at times I feel that people have the tendency to steal my positive energy. This will not make me short on this energy, but others appear to win by this happening, but mostly in there eyes only not mine. I do not look for approval from the world of people. People appear to gain from me I guess this is a good thing, but then I never get good help or appreciation from anyone myself. I feel like a good deed or something which is not bad, but how can I produce riches, and great friendship?
Can you tell me how I can turn things around for myself?
Thank you once again for clarity. On August 14, 2007 I asked God to help me to stop surviving and help me to start living. My idea of living is having enough to answer all my wants and enough left over to help someone else. I got so sick of always not being able to help financially. Always having to make some excuse because I was not in a position to help myself many times, so how could I make a difference financially in anyone else’s life? Happiness to me means leaving an inheritance for my daughter, helping someone else enough to make a difference, having a home big enough to have my relatives and friends over and enjoy good times, travel this awesome Universe and mingle with people everywhere. Yes I want the car and yes I want the house, but I also want to “stand and stare” and laugh and love and enjoy it all. I have started studying the books of Revolutioniz, and I am being very obedient, and this month has generated more money to me than any other this year. My God has answered my prayer and I am on the way to living !!
Wow, Way to go Sandra, that was a truly amazing piece. Wishing you all the best Lots of love. Maureen
Dear Henk:
What a wonderful trip life is!!! I can’t agree with you more. Years ago in my more extreme Christian days I believed seek ye first the kingdom of God and all else will be added unto you. Myself and my six children never lacked for anything we had great abundance but it was not achieved from the “normal channels and somewhere along the line of so called progress I became ashamed of my ways. I was able to attract a very nice car which others thought I was joking them and I could hardly believe myself. That car wound up burning to cinders another story for another time, and it was replaced within a week with a nice van and my family and I were able to still take the planned vacation. Miracles after miracles have flooded my life, but I forgot who I was and became ashamed and allowed others to dictate my life. I acquired another car which drove me from morning til night to try and keep the payments on it and even when I was physically broken could not let it go because what would others think and I could not face that. Well after utilizing every strategy I could think of I finally decided the car was just not worth it. Oh my such peace I didn’t have to drive when I would rather not, I could get on a bus and go anywhere I liked and met so mahy interesting people. Then I experienced a fall on the ice and the resulting physical problems almost overwhelmed me, but I have a ;lot of friends who give and gave me the courage and hope to keep on. Now I am so thrilled with being able to swallow water again, to walk with a clunky cane, for my physical therapists who will help me throw that cane away, for the beautiful pansies I was given for mother’s day and for the wonderful phone coversations I have had with my children. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but I do know the joy of being alive and what is here for me today and so in my own New Age Christian kind of way I am still seeking the kingdom of God (within) and all else is truly being added unto me even in this trying financial times that our world appears to be having. I am prosperous, abundant and joyously happy and excited about whatever the next opportunity to learn may be. One of them is I am starting a Revolutioniz study group won’t that be absolutely awesome!!!
Thanks Sandra
This is so refreshing
Success is being content. content with what you have; content in the daily working out of life and allowing good things to come to your life. Goals are excellent but we must acknowledge the reason we are here and that as you have so wonderfully said is to BE in Being good things come and we BE COME more and more of what we want to BE
thank you
Dear Henk,
This type of message should be spread to the whole world! So, may be, everybody would be striving to get wiser instead of getting older and richer. I think I have discovered another way to attract the most important energies a human being needs – ecuanimity, and to enjoy everything that comes our way, ups and downs; and the most important thing : laughter and
smiles for the sake of life and love…
This is wonderful stuff. I really needed to realize I have everything I need to be happy.

Hi,
Wonderful!
Success is inside of you,not outside.
Thanks for sharing.

Happiness?Everyone should know that since creation no other person ever was like him.
Had there been such another, there would be no need for him to be…each is called to
perfect his unique qualities…(Baál Shem Tov).
I agree with SATREM : “To see,we must stop being in the middle of the picture”.
Happiness?Maybe happy is only the creative person:
Force does not become creative until it meets resistance.Light does not become visible
until it strikes an object.(Lama Govinda)
Happiness?Maybe it is the love:
You live that you may learn to love. You love that you may learn to live.No other lesson is
required of Man.
So, our definition is different, to be happy each of us have to perfect his unique qualities,
to see the beauty of the life,to be creative and to love life.
Dear Henk,
Why do you think so many Spiritual ‘products’ out there are trying to get people to think along the lines of material well-being rather than the contented being-ness that you recommend? Is it a viable way to get people interested in being spiritual or is it counter-productive?
Thanks for the article.
my, its great to understand tha true worth of oneself.u ve opened my channels.
Hi Henk,
i used to think there is something wrong with me, after reading your article , i now feel free happy being what i am.

Dear Henk,
I’ve lived with depression all through my marraige life. Now I am able to analyze while I got depressed and sort out the things not needed in my life. Now I am very clear I am born to live. Thanks for helping me.
Regards,
Brinda.
Hi Henk,
Thanks. Very well said. Most of us have become obsessed with possessions we made them into our goals. Spread the good works.
i like what you say don t let the life living you
happiness moves in a circular motion, thought is like a little boat upon the sea, you can have everthing if you just let yourself be.———lyric from donavon for little ones–circa 1966-donavon leitch.
Hi Henk
This has come at a great time for me. I have been searching for inner peace above all else lately though other people around me have the consumerism attitude. I like shopping as much as anyone else but I find that at Christmas, in particular, everyone tries to out do others in presents, decorations, how many cards sent etc and personally, I usually feel like just going into retreat at those times. I’m tempted to take my dog next Christmas for a driving holiday and just wait out Christmas somewhere quiet. Or perhaps I will volunteer to play music at my local nursing home and take my dog for them to pat. Sounds like a better idea. Thanks for the article. Very thought provoking.
Deb
AHE’EE(THANKS)…HENK…
I m a NATIVE AMERICAN…and our conception of BEING its so strong we do keep it the INNER UNIVERSE reply it..THROUGH OUR ANCESTORS…(BEYOND TIME)…and at the same vibe of AMAZING CONDITION to get it something about we really want it….come from THE INNER VISION…without any FEAR,DOUBTS,or MISUNDERSTOOD..on the way…
WALK IN BEAUTY AND GRACE…
WOATY(WOLF CLAN)…
I’ve lived with mental illness. I discovered through a book my sister gave me that my emotions
could be identified. Finally, I have the power to recognize when I’m feeling depressed, powerless, bringing myself up by my thoughts to a better and better feeling place. This has
taken lots of practice and lots of effort, but a wonderfully empowering effort. To me, happiness has come through my ability to FEEL my emotions, my beautfiul emotions…each and everyone of them no matter how sad, mad, disgusting or disatisfying they may be. Each
is a part of me and when I accept them, and face them I am no longer frightened of them! BUT,
my HAPPINESS is not my feeling to hold onto forever and ever. In order to feel appreciation, and ecstacy or hopefulness etc. I also need to feel (sometimes) the opposite or somethng less than what comes next to feel in order to truly understand
why I exist and expand and reach for more and more and more. We are mean’t to live
happy lives. We are mean’t to be teachers of love by feeling love, for ourselves and for others NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE OR WHAT THEY DO OR WHAT THEY EXPRESS for
they are on the road, the journey such as we are to live, fing JOY in being, just being everyday. Be and know that through only your eyes can your joy be understood.
Absolutely beautiful and gracefully said. Thank you.
for everyone who wonders whats -in-it for me.read with your eyes but grasp with your heart.
Kam Pandya,
Again, it is your “State of Mind” that keeps you where you’re at. Maybe you see only what the media wants to show you about the so called “Wealthy U.S.”, but not everyone here in the U.S. is rich, only 2% of the entire population are Millionaires-Billionaires. In fact we also have many people who are literally starving in vast low income areas and there are people who work 2 jobs that still have a hard time making a living.
This is what this whole “Law of Attraction” is about, is to change your reality by choosing to visualize a wealthier lifestyle. Remember, what you choose to believe “IS” or “WILL” become your reality. There are many Wealthy people who came from very poor back grounds that didn’t want to stay in that “Poor State.” And they made out it because they BELIEVED that they could make it out of that reality.
So don’t give up and stay persistent with visualizing the lifestyle that you want!
Not to be negative or a jerk but I think comment #10(elias) missed the whole point.
It is that very attitude that will keep you from manifesting your desires. Just keep doing what you’re suppose to be doing i.e.(Being in a attitude of gratitude, visualizing, etc.) and you’ll eventually get what you want. I’ve struggled with that same notion also but through persistence and patience I overcame those blockages.
Just don’t give up, let the UNIVERSE take care of the details and the “when”. 🙂
hi
great book I have bought the series and its very powerful and enlightening. thanks for sharing this information with the world. Its really one of those readings that makes you say “wow,” I think if there is anyone on the fence about investing in this knowldege its well worth it. This Series has totally changed the way I preceive life.
Hi
I just wanted say that alot of what you have said is true i agree 100% totally. However I would also add that it depends at which part of the world your born and from. From my expereince in the UK life is very hard. You could ask any British person and they would also say “yeah I would love a car and big house with lots of £££££££.” but it would only apply to some people not all. If anything I would choose good powerful and mega healthy mind and body and good happiness.
At same time If anything else appears to come my way then that would be great as I well chuffed to bits.
excellent. happiness is a state of being, it is ongoing. it can be likened to the horizon no matter how far you travel you never reach it, but if you find contentment in the journey, then each step you takes builds up to your happy self and life.
To #10 poster, elias-
The way to be happy even if you don’t have all you desire, YET, is to be content with what you do have. You obviously have a computer to use that enables you to read the articles from revolutioniz and all of the other wonderful websites with awesome info. And if you have the computer, then you have electricity to run it, and the lights in your house. I’ll bet you even have heat to keep you warm during this winter, and you had a nice meal to eat today.
You have wonders in your life that most of the world does not. Find happiness and contentment in what you do have, be grateful for all of it each day, and watch the miracles begin to happen for you.
And, Elias, THANK YOU for reminding me of all I have in my life.
hello, i m from india(bharat) looking making huge money, please advise by email, HAPPY DIWALI
The secret of being happy lies in being content. Material things are only means to living and not the purpose in themselves. We must find the ways to make others happy and leave the world in a better state.
See we let language to create certain feeling for us but we have strict language or vocabulary limitation. So, it is amazing to me find in your lessons to have the target and then select positive feelings associated to target and imagine like that I have already reached my desired target. That’s real way to get whatever I want.
In the cosmic joke sort of grist for the mill, darthe vader type of world system that each one of us finds are selves being birthed into, initially dumb to the realities of the immediate situation,ie Living in quiet desperation if you are less than lucky, or dying with moments of happiness and accomplishments mostly fleeting with some help from the smarter, humbler primates. Very lucky if the Gods, ie the undead, anakim. annunaki, watchers, logoi etc. should take note of one’s existence, and the possibilities of bringing additional greatness and expansion to those of such an ancient idea. Where can be found such a satrap of representation that engages all of the the possibilities that being a DNA bound habit/fear controlled primate inhibits ? Is the only way to realize Godhood for the bloodthirsty ape man,are to drug, kill, and blow our selves into nirvanna oblivion/death ? Who dares to honestly answer this? My e-mail is above. Signed, food for the Gods/offspring of the Gods.
Thank you for this article. Everybody tryes to achive something forgeting about achiving
inner Self. You remind about it.
Thanks for the article. There is a great book by Richard Blackstone called Nuts & Bolts Spirituality that in my opinion is one of the best written books on being a human ‘being’ rather than a human ‘doing’.
I read your stuff “every” day. Thank you.
I recently became aware of the TRUTH of that, by remembering it from D.C. comics way,
described G.O.D.! When I first read it, it was in opposition to the christ CRAP I was having FORCED on me, by my parents.
It WASn’t ’til I became, a full fledged adult (over 40) that, I became aware of it’s TRUTH!
We TRULY only have a SOURCE, not a G.O.D.!
It has been MY experience, that IF you’ll just charge the attainment of your goal, with enough
positive emotion. Like happiness, greatfulness & thankfulness, then what you were wanting.
Materializes into your life, to MY experience, it’s happened in the MOST surprizing ways!
The ways, that made me go, Oh yeah. I WAS gonna need THAT, wasn’t I?
Myresponce to THAT, was USUALLY, THANX BIGguy(G.O.D.)!
To define the acronmy that I’m believing G.O.D. stands for, is G.eneration O.pposes
D.estruction. So, THAT’s how I define/understand the cdoncept, A.K.A. the SOURCE!
It is MY opinion, tha Anita said it BEST, happyness ISN’T outside of OURselves, and IF we’ll just take the time. To look around ourselves, we’ll find INFINITE reasons, to be BOTH greatful & happy.
For the LITERALLY endless blessing we HAVE, I won’t eve4n begin to TRY to list them HERE,
because THAT list. Would be TRULY endless, U know? E ya!
Happiness is internal. It is all inside us. We just have to feel it, well it up and express it over and over. Unhapiness is a form of lost energy. We are trying to get it back among other things through fighting, retaliating, belittling, badmouthing etc. When we put down other people we feel better , This can set in vicious cycle of bad energy between two parties which goes on until it develops into a full bloom conflict. We can and must stop the cycle. Enjoy happiness through appreciation. Just appreciate anything and everything around us, the persons we are, the trees , the flowers, the trillion brain cells we have……we are each the king or the queen of a galactial empire which has a population of more than 160 times that of the earth. You ask: How to keep happy when you don’t have the things you desire? Look around you….Isn’t there anything in your life that you’re happy and grateful for – right now? Just think about it for a minute. You’re able to See. To breath. To feel. To talk . You ‘re not starving, freezing. You don’t have a life treathning illness….And you have been shown the way to “The Law of Attraction” – the possibility to get the knowledge that can change your hole life. Isn’t this things worth beeing HAPPY for? Try to appereciate and feel grateful for all the “small” things that you already have, then – when you FEEL this gratefulness, you will be more likely to attract the other things you desire. This way you kan continue to stay happy, all the time. Especially when you TRUST and expect that you WILL get the other things that you desire. If you have faith in that, WHY shouldn’t you be happy, ALL THE TIME???
Hi. I found the report very interesting. The problem is:how to keep happy when you don’t have the things you desire?
..my power to be successful, my power to be me… instead of “hiding” behind a cause, a husband, an anything but standing up for me, and going deeper into what brings me total joy, ecstasy and happiness. I am on the journey and supported by Henk and Nicholas. Thank you for all you do! SatNam, Jill
MONEY IS ENERGY , ENERGY COME FROM ONE SOURCE GOD ThE UNIVERSE whatever you call it. enough with the sack cloth and ash stuff, enough with higher ideas nonsense . All these things are energy if you believe money comes from working hard go for it thats how you will manifest it. NOT ME it comes from many sources and i dont question any I use to be worried when it was bill time and the money wasnt coming now it shows up spread out or the day before in the amounts i need and use. I visualize meditate and use subliminal/audio tapes as well as 321 meditations i use many sources. If you believe these “things” dont create happiness than thats your opinion. Im tired of the criticism stuff, whatever meaning or belief someone puts into something is it and thats fine. because they own it.
we are meant to have limitless wealth health and success showered on us!! lack exists only in the human mind. intellectualism is devoid of miracles and life its a glassboth that contains the mind the mind that observes and criticizes never creating or manifesting.
So you ponder on the purity and sit in a cave for 100 years not me..whatever you ask it will be done, before you knock i will answer …..be happy be filled with excitement and joy… what you ask for yourself want the same for everyone..there is no purity in this it just is …dont be a sycophant .
You will manifest while you are in a human body and after your death. After death you will have no need to manifest money or material objects. Coming to this realization allows you to gain perspectives on what “you really want”. Your article is correct in regards to aligning your vibration on the highest level in the “now”. However, here is an interesting point …”if when you die, you imagine and believe there is nothing and nothingness, then you will experience that, not because there really is nothingness but because your imagination and beliefs create and manifest the appearance and illusion of nothingness so faithfully (as in a dream) that you then EXPERIENCE THE NOTHINGNESS”. Natural and involuntary processes can be conscious controlled..just like holding your breath or deep breathing or blinking your eyes at what ever speed you consciously desire. So regarding manifestation, either you become aware of that process and take control or you remain unaware and all of your circumstances are manifested for you, by you and unbeknown to you while never realizing that you create your own reality
I agree that a person’s worth is or should not be measured in material goods. A person’ true worth is in the way the person lives their life. /The bible teaches that we should help people who may not have material goods such as clothing or food. This teaching is very pertinent at the Christmas season.
Hi Gilbert,
As mentioned in the article, there’s nothing wrong with material stuff or money in itself. These are just illusions anyway. It becomes a problem when you see money or ‘materials’ as the objects that should confirm to others that you are successful.
Again, the problem in that case is not with the materials or the money, it’s with the fact that you obviously don’t deem yourself to be ‘good enough’ or ‘worthy’ because you seek approval of others by confirming your alleged success measured by THEIR standards, not your own. This limited view of yourself then hampers ‘getting what you really want’, because you may be pursuing things that you may only want because you think that would have others approve of you. What this means is that you’re actually not approving of who YOU are, because you seek approval of others. But it’s not about living an image of what others think you are supposed to be, it’s about being the unique YOU.
One of the keys to ‘getting what you really want’ is knowing what YOU really want, regardless of what others think you SHOULD want.
Wanting a lot of money for the ends you mention is different. That seems to be a genuine feeling of your own. However, there are some ‘catches’ to money. See the book on money that you can get for free for more details on that!
Anyway, the problem is not with the material stuff. If you really and genuinely want that stuff you will have it. The question is whether YOU truly want it, or whether you only want it because someone else thinks you should want it because that’s his or her or its measure of ‘success’.
This is a well written article. I’ve written several articles on The Law of Attraction, visualization and manifestation, but yours hits the nail on the head. One question that still remains though, is the one where you want a lot of money so that you can help your family and do the things you want to accomplish in your life. Is that being materialistic too, or is being materialistic only applicable if you want material things to show others how well you are doing?
Thanks,
Gilbert
Dear Henk,
Thank you for this timely letter. I recently reached the same conclusion and this affirmed my thoughts. I hope people worldwide read this and heed it. It’s sound and sane advice and it’s the only way to have inner peace. Reminds me of the message in the movie Peaceful Warrior. Have an awesome day!
Regards,
Sharon
Hi Henk
You put it beautifully and simple.
Explain this for me, I realize , my obsession with possession is not for myself, but for my children.
I feel like a bird who risk his all for a worm to feed his young.
I am 47 and i feel like that all i have been doing
Thanks
Alston
You just said what I love to listen to. I am interested in being more adept in the practice. After all, it is in the practice that you succeed. I want to be in this life of becoming. Becoming what? A servant king doing what he enjoys best and finding increasing resourcefulness and abundant riches. Just a custodian of riches for ALL who is the King owner. Thanks.
