(or: ‘The Power To Light Up’ – Part 1)
These words are from Martha Graham, an American modern dancer and choreographer who lived between 1894 and 1991. Her influence on dance has been compared with the influence Picasso had on modern visual arts, Stravinsky on music, and Frank Lloyd Wright on architecture.
She quietly mentioned them to fellow dancer Agnes de Mille, after Agnes had confessed to her that she had a burning desire to be excellent, but no faith that she actually could be.
Martha’s words beautifully capture the nature of the creative power we all possess, in the form of the ‘life force’ that’s trying to come out in a unique expression that only you can facilitate.
It’s this ‘vitality’ that we can define as the inner flame of our true passion.
The Flame of Passion
Passion in this context is the fuel that drives us forward in life: the passion to experience, to create value, to invent, to build something that has a life of its own, to connect (with) other people, to do something remarkable with our lives – whatever it is that’s important to us.
And whenever we speak of wanting to “create the life of our dreams” (<– or in contemporary popularized jargon “attract and manifest our desires”), we’re really looking for the experience of being aligned with this fundamental ‘ecstasy’ that’s constantly seeking expression and expansion through us.
Once we manage to establish that kind of congruence, this ‘energy’ gets focused in a kind of creative power that can never be equaled by any endeavor that lacks that kind of alignment, and incites an unmatched drive and ability to create the kind of life experience we dream about making reality.
When we do align like that, we have no need for fancy motivational tricks to ignite our inspiration and/or retain a ‘positive outlook.’ While such methods can contribute to increasing its intensity, this inner fire is a humungous and inexhaustible resource of energy, unequaled by anything.
It can fuel the realization of any genuine intent we have, and allows us to do anything we really want to do with unparalleled vigor.

It electrifies our ability to easily move through all of the inevitable external obstacles we’ll find on the journey of making our dreams reality (<– which each come with their own set of internal obstacles to overcome).
Or otherwise it’ll dissolve any of our supposed ‘inner blocks’ and/or self-inhibiting patterns by simply making them fade to the background of its captivating and overwhelming liveliness.
It’s this power that we unleash when we truly ‘Crack Our Eggs’ and that – in the words of the Queen song – “makes a supersonic (wo)man of you.” (<– See the video at the end of this article.)
So Where Is It?
We all have this flame burning within us, without exception.
While for some of us it might have become so dim that we don’t even recognize it anymore, we’ve all experienced its dashing intensity at some point in our lives, only usually just for very short, fleeting moments.
Nevertheless, we all remember those moments, because they bring such awesome clarity, insatiable desire, lightness of heart, and inexhaustible vitality.
Precisely because of a total lack of alignment with this ‘exuberance,’ for most people their process of ‘creating the life of their dreams’ and ‘actualizing their desires’ comes to a halt before it even really gets the chance to take off and build momentum.
Such inner ‘miscalibration’ can have various causes:
- We may seek to manifest externally imposed symbols that are collectively decreed to be the essentials of ‘success,’ although on a core level we ourselves don’t agree with and/or genuinely care about them (<– as explained in this article).
- We find ourselves unable to decide on anything and scatter our focus all over the place.
- We really have no idea about what we really want, usually due to a collection of subconscious patterns and automatic mechanisms that blind, keep and/or distract us from focusing on our genuine aspirations.
In any case, we’re unable to align ourselves to our ‘inner fire,’ much less to fully invest ourselves in its creative expression, whichever form that may take for us.
But if we ever want to experience the true nature of the creative power and fulfillment we’re really seeking, we must (re)discover and fuel this flame.
So How Do We (Re-) Discover It?
When we’ve been implicitly suppressing and/or out of touch with our flame for so long, finding it (back) can seem a little tricky.
As a little analogy, consider this:
Years ago when I was still in high school, I remember that some friends of mine used to bring books with them that contained collections of autostereograms.
An autostereogram is a type of illustration that’s designed to create the visual illusion of a three-dimensional scene from a two-dimensional image, where the suggestion of depth is created from the different perspective that each eye has of a three-dimensional scene.
At first sight, the image usually appears as a flat, abstract collage of colors. However, it has another, three-dimensional picture ‘underneath’ it that we’re unable to readily see through our normal ways of looking.
To perceive that ‘deeper’ image, we’re supposed to hold the book at a certain distance from our face, and then pull it slowly away without adjusting the focus of our eyes – kind of like looking through the picture. Then at one point in that trajectory, the three-dimensional image will suddenly show up.
Below is an example of an autostereogram, where the above part of the image is the abstract collage displayed in the book, and the part underneath it is the three-dimensional image that’s supposed to appear upon the right way of looking at (or perhaps rather through) it:

Now I have to admit:
Personally, I could never do it, except for some occasional instances of success. I’d keep putting a lot of effort into finding the image behind the colored mishmash. But no matter how hard I tried, it never worked. It could drive me nuts!
But then at one point, for no reason whatsoever that I can remember, I picked up one of those books, opened it to one of the pictures, and without trying it all, there it was! The three-dimensional picture behind it just popped up in front of my eyes.
And yet, I still didn’t know how exactly I did it. So even after that experience of ‘success,’ I couldn’t reproduce the ability on a consistent basis.
At first I thought the trick was to sneak up on the book as if I wasn’t interested. But that didn’t turn out to work dependably…
Putting my eyes out of focus didn’t work either…
Very occasionally it just came to me. But usually it didn’t.
Now to be really honest with you:
I can’t say I consistently and diligently practiced it… With other stuff on my mind, it was just never that important to me.
And that’s the issue right there!
You see, in that particular sense, the inner flame of our passion is kind of similar to the deeper three-dimensional image in those autostereograms:
- You can’t always see it.
- But nevertheless, every now and then it makes itself apparent.
Sometimes it’ll come to you, and when it does, it’s usually at the most unexpected or inconvenient moment and in the strangest, most unpredictable ways:
- You could be standing on the corner about to walk across the street…
- You could be exercising…
- You could be turning in your sleep, dreaming…
- You could be polishing your paperclip collection…
- You could be in the shower, packing a suitcase, visiting a concert or theater show, engaging in ‘number two,’ cleaning out your closet…
- Etc.
It’ll always be fleeting and unpredictable, unless you make it truly important to you!
If you really want to tap into its powers and experience its invigorating infusion of energy, inspiration, motivation and elation… then you must make it really, really important to you!
In fact, you must make it so important that you’ll do anything to see it for what it is.
It’s being deeply and genuinely interested in discovering it that’ll ultimately give you the power to see it.
That’s the main thing.
And to further point you in the right direction, here’s a practical way to start looking…
Your Next Course of Action
The flame of your passion is and has always been there. It doesn’t need to be ignited, only to be found and recognized.

Next, for a flame to keep burning brightly, it needs fuel. The more fuel you feed it, the brighter and more intensely it blazes.
This gives us two angles as a starting point for firing her up:
1. Feed your flame more fuel.
The fuel for our inner flame to burn is the genuine attention we give to it. When we ignore it, it fades and may even appear to die out. But when we give it a channel through which it can be expressed (even just slightly), it begins to light up and intensify. And this channel can take any form you feel drawn towards.
Contrary to what we’re sometimes led to believe, we’re not actually born to be a doctor, lawyer, road sweeper, charity worker, mother/father, garbage man, school teacher, or whatever.
So it’s not always a specific job or activity that we need to find (although it can be). All we need is a conduit that works for us and gives us the opportunity to ‘siphon’ the energy into the material world.
To elicit some initial indications and directions for suitable options, ask yourself:
- What are your strengths?
- What do you excel in?
- What are your unique talents?
- What can you do better than most others?
- What are your passions?
- What are your hobbies?
- What makes your heart sing?
- What can you do for hours, that makes you lose track of time and fills you with energy and joy?
Pay particular attention to the first hunches that come to mind. Don’t censor the process with thoughts like “I can’t make any money with that” or “people will think I’m crazy.” That’s just your ‘egg’ imposing its constricting influence on you.
For some people, answers, insight and inspiration strike in like a lightning bolt and with immediate, unmistakable clarity.
For others, finding back their flame may be more like a journey of (re-) discovery, where they might have to start with one thing, after which the next part of it will reveal itself… and then when they follow through on that, its next aspect will come into focus… and so on.
If so, just stay at it, because your flame will become apparent if you remain seriously and genuinely interested in its nature. In that regard, the second angle for our starting course of action will greatly contribute to the effect of this exercise as well:
2. Stop cutting off your flame’s fuel supply.
As mentioned before, the flame of our passion may have grown very dim over time upon its subjection to the immensely inhibiting forces of our ‘egg,’ with all its subconscious patterns and mechanisms that are pulled over our eyes to blind and distract us from the nature and rapture of our inner fire.
Taking such inhibiting factors out of the equation can go a long way in helping a dimmed- down flame reveal itself and burn brighter again, as if we suddenly eliminate a sizable fuel drain that had been substantially cutting off its supply of energy.
This part of the process, however, is a whole topic in and of itself, and something we go into in other articles.
So begin by implementing the suggestions provided so far.
Then in the next article, you’ll learn a technique that’ll allow you to see the self-inhibiting patterns of your ‘egg’ for what they really are, instantly step out of them, and put yourself in a position of power and understanding from where you can dissolve them and increase your ability to discover, reveal and unleash the flame of your passion. (<– Or if you can’t wait, learn to ‘Crack Your Egg’ now!)
And when you really do and allow it to burn in its inherent blazing glory – both lightened and lighted up, nothing will be able to stop you on your path of making your dreams reality.
It’s your light. Let it shine.

To keep things simple, look at it like this:
The desire to make the law of attraction work is because of a “want” you have and you feel the need to fulfill it.
If you look behind your “want” you will find a feeling of “lack”. If you did not have this feeling of “lack” you would not have the need for a “want” and the interest in the law of attraction.
Therefore; it would be in your best interest to release the feeling of “lack” from your energy.
There are at least two good ways to do this:
One is to just release the feeling (let go) of the “lack” energy.
The other is to love the feeling of “lack” the best you can and as much as you can. This seems to always create a surprise or wonder because most people don’t expect this to work.
Love the article! I feel people are opening up everywhere and the separation is dissolving. If we all keep our common origin in mind we can let go of the misconception that we need seperateness like a security blanket and really live and love as One. Anytime I open one of these publications I am pleasantly impressed by the great insights, free books, and simple principles to change beliefs if you so choose.
I thank you very much. I love and wish you all the best in life. EveryOne.

Hi, I’m 68 and have studied off and on psychic/spiritual texts. I had 4 children , husband (50 years this year), and several jobs. The first book I read about the subject, although I didn’t label it at the time was “The Magic Of Believing” by Claude Bristol. All of Seth-who spoke through Jane Roberts resonates with me. Most of the books are still available. The intent to explore our own consciousness seems to me to be my most fun./ passion. I’m getting better at loving myself and others, with out making plans or having expectations of myself or others. I think probably all RULES are in error, except the rule of love. Go in peace and thanks to Henk whose blog seems to confirm many of the ideas I seem to have accepted.
Wow, talk about knowing the infinate capacity of survival, and who’s using it or not. You
guys are terrific. Thanks for reminding me of what I must absolutely remind myself to ingest.
I really enjoy your work.
I look at all these comments and it all amazes me. I have been married 3 times. The first only lasted 4 years, the second 20 years (with 2 children born into this marriage) and the last years, but was with the man for 10 years…lived with him 2 and then married and it lasted 3 years. I am 59 years old and do not understand life at all. I read where these people have done great things with their life. I feel I have totally failed in everything I have done. I have been in newspaper business all my life and I am so burned out on it right now, but feel to old to start another career. My last husband was and multi-millionaire but was more in love with his money than me. I lived in a beautiful home, could drive any kind of car I wished…then the divorce came and I now live in a modest house and live a very different life than what I loved for 5 years. My son, who is now in prison for life, was mentally challenged.. I tried everything in my power to help him since he was 2 months old and I was told he could be mentally disabled. Everything I did failed and I feel like I have lost the biggest battle of my life. My daughter, is raising my beautiful and very intelligent grandbaby who is 4 years old. I have worked since I was 16 years old and will now have to work until 90 …. I have tried to be frugal since my divorce and not spend my small amount of savings. I am truly lose in this world..I don’t know who I am. I look in the mirror and think what is my purpose on this earth. I read self help books and try to battle my way through this world. I wish I could be happy…truly happy and find someone that would love me for who I am…or maybe I was meant to be alone..Anyway I think I have already written to much and apologize for what could be boredom for some…I just need some kind of guidance at 59!!! Please I think I missed the boat somewhere!
Hi Joyce, 59 years isn’t old at all, for many people. If you reflect on what interests you have; maybe protecting the environment or music etc. it seems to me that joining others with a similar love would inspire you and maybe open new roads, experiences and relationships. Even joining a seniors (for over 50’s) activity centre would be envigorating or volunteering at an old-age home makes you realize how valuable you are to others. Just something to think about.
A wonderfully complete and concise description of the elemental aspects of the flame that we have within us!!! Thank you very much!
Hello, Gary, Henry, Marva, Adeziyi, Anita, Walta, Alex, tanya Ajit, Diane, Hanna, Asiseeem Madhavi, Nancy, Anne, Patsy, and last but by no means least, SHERRY!
This is a first for me too. I too have been looking for an extra stream of income with the same amount of success! At 80 years of age I just cannot sit and do nothing.Having read all the books like Think and Grow Rich. You Were Born Rich, taken the Silva Course, this “Crack Your Egg” site has been a real eye opener.

Hello to everyone! I am yet another woman soon to turn 55(two more sleeps!)I have thoroughly enjoyed reading and re-reading in some instances, all of these incredibly honest and heart warming words.I have so enjoyed this sharing that I decided to leave this message, another first! It reminded me that no matter how uncertain the life we are living, there is always HOPE and LOVE if we are open to it and it can come in the most unusual of ways.I look forward to reading any future messages!! Many thanks. P.S. My beautiful cat has enjoyed this time in love on my lap
I sincerly believe YOU are GREAT, who am I to be receiving so many attentions from YOU? We are here in this world now but How many times have we come learn what we came to learn and go back for instructions for our new trip to earth?
We must be willing to give LOVE, the way you do, I have given love as freely as I can and never has God or any body else charge me or pretend to charge me a cent for that love IT IS absoloutly free. Many years ago I began to feel the need for writing about ideas that were given to me and I wrote many pages about them got copies and gave them away; some people, as soon as they saw I was giving those pages away looked for me fast before I gave them all away. That did stop after about three years. Now with so many e-mails coming and going I began to feel the need to add a comment to each and that is what I am doing now. Some persons have written me to tell me they enjoy those comments very much, that in many cases they just read my comments and forget about the e-mail. I hope you like what I wrote you today. Those e-mails are in Spanish, that is why I don’t pretend to send you copies.
Yes I must admit that love for the inner flame is the missing part of the puzzle in order to really manifest success. Somehow I wish to point out that you can use love and get nothing. Using love in the wrong way will bring you nothing. So to start with, accept who you are. Show gratitude of all the gift bestowed to you by The Universe, no matter how small it might be. Give out from your heart contentment some of your wealth to the poor. Received ten fold back of what you gave and this complete the equation for manifesting success. Behind every action there’s a reaction. The more you give the more you receive. What you have inside your inner self is what you get outside. It just like a mirror. A perfect reflection. Now do you know why so many people out there failed to manifest success? This is my secret:****Put it well in your mind<<>>. You have done every steps well but if you don’t cultivate”True Love” inside you, then you are a failure. Just by cultivating true love inside your own self, be truly happy of who you are, give attention to others the way you wish to receive attention, give out 10% out of your wealth with love and heart contentment; and you don’t be surprised when you see yourself manifesting success more of what you expected. Garbage in garbage out. What you feed in is what you see in reality. The law of attraction is working on everybody just as the law of gravity. All is derived from the blue-print of your belief. Change that blue-print, apply steps above and see result.
I dont speak on many websites i come across but WE felt I couldn’t avoid the opportunity with brussels. Nice post. I can only wonder what you should be writing in the long run.
Loving yourself is the prerequisite for loving others. So true…I love your articles 🙂
Concerning Dale Baxters recommendation for a movie (cuz it IS a movie with alot of great points and quotes relating to alot of this material. It’s just too bad that most people didn’t “get it”) But, the movie he is referring to is “Joe vs. The Volcano” and it stars Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Just wanted to share that for folks who might be interested. Thanks !!!
Love has so many meanings. How about contentment, acceptance and gratitute as being part of love. Example: I may not love scrapping tooth flossing remains from the bathroom mirror but I can accept that it needs to be done- be grateful for the lovely mirrror and the hot and cold running water, feel gratitude for the person who made me coffee and took out the garbage. I can even love that I can show love by performing such a small task. I could even manifest a water pik- – – now why didn’t I think of that before?
hi
i come to this conclusion long time ago … that without love nothing can be manifested when i do the avatar course early ninty … yes love is the fifth missing element … i m reffering to film 5th element … and loving oneself unconditionally is much more difficult then loving other unconditionally …. and eft sometime help … but deep rooted guilt undeservedness and self judgement and punishment … keep repeating … as well as birthchart karmic effect … which is soul prog for this life …. need much more deeper meditation and letting go practice …. i hope we are able to let go karma and move into dharma with love compassion and self acceptance … may we all be blessed

WHAT A SITE AND WHAT A GREAT GROUP! i immensely enjoyed THE LOVE overflowing here.thanks a million henk ,I am Donald Baxter, from New Delhi,India.I am an Indian and a born again Christian, a pastor, divine healer, graphonomist, mindtrainer and researcher.i bought your course a long time ago…but somehow neglected it.Now i was again led here and now i am AWAKE! i have understood.i have come alive.i have some answers and some questions.first let me compliment sherry and harry, two great souls, sister and brother (and many more!) i am proud to meet.for four years i have lived like Job in real hell.my ministry among poor fell apart,my wife and 3 kids divorced me after 29 years of bliss,my brother took away all property, wife took the rest, job gone.would watch tv and hear sad songs all day.3 months i devised plans to commit suicide.somehow friends helped me to survive.bought a computer, then two laptops, started professional handwriting analysis business. bought many mindtrainings.but the greatest joy and key to all was CRACK YOUR EGG! than this blog opened my eyes.want to know why the rich get richer and the poor poorer? pl read matthew 10 and 25 chapter where it is written–TO HIM HE HATH MORE WOULD BE GIVEN AND FROM HIM WHO HAS NONE,EVEN THAT WOULD BE TAKEN.the key is HOW AND WHY you pray.the rich says–i have, give me more.he gets it.the poor says–i have nothing and SO GIVE ME…and he looses it ALL.dont you see THAT happening in real life? than Jesus told us to love ourselves FIRST–it is NOT selfishness.selfishness is trying to make others become like us.i was getting REJECTION from everyone. Now i know why.I WAS REJECTING MYSELF and trying to be a Mother Teressa (forgive me Mother T, no offense to you!).To love others we MUST receive love first…and WE MUST LEARN TO LOVE OURSELF just as we are!have you seen the great movie–mr joe, meet the mountain?it stars JIM CAREY and directed by Steven Spielberg.made in the 90s and almost forgotten.i have’nt seen it but here is the story in nutshell–Jim is a looser.finds a rich girl.somehow marries her.ends up on her father’s ship on moonlit night.she says–my father says, most of us are asleep and we just need to WAKE UP. henk and you all lovely saints have conspired to do just that and i feel like in a mini-heaven here!Nice to see lots of brothers and sisters from india here too. would visit and post often and would welcome your love and prayers as i seek a new wife and family.you can catch me on facebook.
Stimulating article. I think what confuses us about loving one’s self unconditionally is the guilt surrounding material gain and selfish interests. Some how we think that if we have selfish interest we are not worthy of Love and the abundant Life that comes with It.
We somehow associate material gain with evil. We think that if we get rich it will change us into an evil being. This kind of thinking is what blocks us from attaining the the things we need most to live a loving, happy productive Life.
We need Money and lots of it. Don’t be ashamed or feel guilty for wanting to be Rich. God put us into a world of Abundance. God wants us to be rich. When you are rich you will have the time, energy and ability to Love your self and share your love and wealth with your family, friend and the world.
Please no more guilt about having selfish interest. If you are not satisfying your own interest you will never truly satisfy anyone’s interest. No more guilt for wanting to be rich. If you are not rich, you will always want something that you can never have.
Get rid of the guilt and Love your life to the fullest.
I was injured in a construction accident and had to totally rebuild my life in a new direction I have never been in before. I looked back to my youth, what did I think like? The first thing was that I loved life and had a cheer in my heart and a smile on my face most of the time.
Well there ya go, THE FLAME. And it worked out well for me once I found it.
the flame is hard to find but it happens all the time…………………… since the ten commandments i guess…………………. love is it……………….. peace for venus in bluejeans……………….. and what i mean………………….. it is also forbidden and much adminnistered for free………….. better is love when it really comes right down to it……………… the earth…………… the world………… and the lonely man who still believes in it……………….. smile is love…………. love is smile…………………. and love is forgotten a lot…………………….. thank you too…………… i may add the ingredients……………………. yours faith fully…………….. helma in the netherlands…………….. oh yes and love is warm……………… friendly regards…………….
Henk:
You always seem to bring the right words into my life at the right time. The reality that others see for us is not nearly as rewarding and fulfilling and fun as the life that we envision for ourselves. Take back your life from others with LOVE and Live your true vision.
Thank you for this post.
Forgive the mispelled words, I was typing pretty fast…………………smooches
Hi AndreaV….. Like you I came in on the very end of this show… laptop been in the shop for a week. I was so interested in Sherry’s and Henry’s convo that I didnt realize I was reading a blog. It was incredible. I even found myself remembering Henry’s email address, he’s brilliant and we think a lot alike. I’ve found myself in the shoes of Sherry and yourself, not to long ago. My dad past in Nov 09, I was devestated but had watched him suffer, when he passed it was a relief, (that’s the first time I’ve ever said that). However, I began looking for a truth that I was getting in church or any where else, cause life was hard! Always broke, just barely paying my bills and everythings was late. I didnt want it this way but I’d found myself there after a divorce and having to start over in life at 40. I’m 43 now and I started studying the Law of Attraction in Jan. 2010, along with most all the Laws of the Universe and it seemed as simple as it is difficult. Henry was on point about the meditating. And someone else suggested writing your dreams down. Todays topic was on Love. I have discovered in just 9 short months that it’s all right. You cant keep focussing on what you do not want and get what you want…. So what do yo want? Why are you “trying to give love to others” before you give it freely to yourself? Since childhood you’ve listened to the voice that says you are all alone and no matter how hard you try, You’ll be rejected. So you get what you keep saying to yourself, what you are focussing on. If you loved yourself freely, you wouldn’t notice that others were being nasty. People only reflect back to you what you are thinking of yourself. My point for preaching to you is, I really know how you feel, I’ve been there. But there is help every where. Just like this info was free, you can google the law of attraction, or youtube and get thousands of articles and videos that will teach you step by step. For me, I started with trying to relax (had a little anxiety issue since childhood).. It led me to meditating which led me to visualizing, which led me to law of attraction, and so on… here I am EXTREMELY happy and grateful for my life. My perseption has completely different. I’m starting a new career as a life coach and life is great. But I had to see it that way first…… I hope this helps….. It was free.
Where there is THE FLAME there is no fear.
There is, only Love!
Olia
Hi Sherry! I’m sorry I found this discussion at the tale end…I read your first post and it brought a tear to my eye because I can certainly relate to you. I am in a similliar situation and I feel I am hitting a brick wall. I try and try to give LOVE to everyone and to think positivley but I am always met with nasty remarks and hurt feelings…..this has been going on since childhood and now at the age of 47, I feel very alone. I am job searching and have been for a year, that’s not helping the situation either. Sometimes this world is a tough place to be. How is a person supposed to find their true passion and live it without help?
Thank you Henk, for the posted. It is great!
every and each one
can benefit
from a smile
that i send
when i pass them
smiling eyes
even if they do not recognize that very moment
it may come in a moment
where they need it most
rainbow blessings
As usual brilliant information to inspire anyone looking for self empowerment.
May I put a couple of my own quotes in here?
“From GOD’S spirit of the place most high, a gift that’s earned, that no one can buy”
“For those who are looking, but do not find, are using their eyes and not their minds”
“Quantum physics and small things not seen, are like from within the magic miracle beam”
“There is no beginning, there is no end, the spirit is eternal, so make good use of it my friend” Yours Malcolm.
Its all simple really: I love you, I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you.
I Thank you so much Henk, it comes from deep within my heart. From the knowledge you share, I have gained so much, I have truly discovered the “Inner I” of who I am.
I have always been an honest person helping others, sharing my life experiences giving the lessons learned. But it was only with a select few, who I felt inside would understand. it was not until I focused in, believed, and truly listened to the whispered words of wisdom that made a connection with me. This connection made with me is from the “Higher Power” the “Supreme Intelligent Force of the Universe”. In making the Powerful connection I have carried with me at all times a pen and paper, i write down all that comes to me. My life has become amazing with this new knowledge of information I have recieved, and I realized that I can not hold onto it for myself.
My whole life, at 51 I never thought I would need to learn or use the computer. But the day came when from what I heard from the connecing voice, and accepted, i understood that the GOOD WILL of energies that have been searching to connect with others found that the power of communication is connected to our fingertips. From this Powerful source of energy from the voices i hear, they have guided me to help teach me how to use a computer.
With all my writings that were coming to me in random order, i’ve been able to put them into correct order, and everything makes sense to me. I have now written a manuscript, built a web page where I can share the new knowledge of information with the world. I’m giving this manuscript away for only one dollar, because I want all to read it. Giving and sharing this manuscript is truly and honestly giving more in value than which I shall recieve. It is that I believe this is the true Purpose of Life, sharing information to help mankind, in return the mind of Good Will Thoughts will live on into Eternity.
Thank You many times with PASSION, Henk
To Sherry
When you ‘go dancing’ you are sharing the results of years of persistence and practice, your joy, your willingness to partner others. That looks like love.
When you open your ears and your centre to the offerings of musicians – that’s loving. They are nothing until someone listens and is gladdened by their work.
Having a merry heart – well, it shows to the people around you. That’s loving. That’s adding good to the day and the world around.
Taking ‘risks’ by travelling to foreign places and then sharing your enjoyment, your pleasure in other people and their culture, plus adding to the enjoyment of those you travelled with – that’s loving.
Riding the bumps of marriage and raising a loving child – a legacy – and you provided a model of how to be in the world, with others. A loving gift.
And inner contentment. Knowing inner self-acceptance, so you can readily accept the good in others. Giving from a ‘full well’. Thanks.
I love everything that is written here, it is so energising and inspiring. I wish I could meet you Adrienne!
Hi Henk , this is a great post, thanks once again it’s truly enlightening. I couldn’t help but to express my thoughts to Karen who is surrounded by God’s creation. Karen if I may, you have all the passion of creating art in your hands this very moment. You are God’s endless creation of art, just look at yourself and snatch a fragment from yourself and place it on canvas a you have a masterpiece. lol
So much of what is portrayed by people is highly dependent on their state of mind at that time and it is difficult to know how much control we have over our lives. Some of my close friends and relatives have died of cancer recently and several more have been diagnosed with this hideous curse. This insidious disease is not something I would wish on anyone, least of all those I care about. It must be very hard to exude love and warmth to the world when one of its noxious gifts is gradually eating your body away. Many of the realities endured by this worlds inhabitants are evil beyond belief but this is forgotten about by those who are not persecuted, tortured or scared and isolated.
Assuming the state of so called universal love, is in fact achievable by spiritual practitioners, one can only also assume they are existing in a state of temporary or (nice for them) permanent bliss.
However, if we are able to create this reality for ourselves as the students of quantum physics would have us believe then we can escape the trials tribulations of this erratic existence most of us experience. The trouble is, I have never met anyone who has actually pulled it off yet!
I find it very easy to feel joyous, giving and radiating love and happiness immediately following the acquisition of a large sum of money! But when I’m struggling like hell, don’t have anywhere near enough work and cant pay the bills, loving the world is the last thing on my mind. How many people singing the praises of one prophet or another do you know who will admit this?
As for the peddlers of enlightenment, who every few weeks have yet another way of achieving nirvana to offer us, I can’t help wondering which miraculous tonic actually turned their life around?
Manifesting works for me quite well most of time when I remember to practice it and yet I feel little or no great love for the universe a lot of the time. Frankly I think most of the world stinks rotten!
Untouched nature I love with a passion and I have strong feelings of appreciation and empathy for plants, birds and animals except when I see them eating each other! As a devout vegetarian I have problems with all kinds of flesh eaters but I accept them and try to bare them no malice.
The universe is nothing more than a gigantic recycling machine that had no beginning and has no end. We never really die, instead we evolve through the process of reincarnation to a point where once again we become one with cosmos, or all knowing and understanding. The universe is literally teaming with life and always has been on all levels and dimensions. It has had an infinite period of time to get as big as it can be and it encompasses all possibilities simultaneously. All matter is thought manifest and is structured by consciousness of one form or another. Sooner or later we all become a god but there is no one god like being. Only zillions of souls on the way to becoming one. Help when you are asked, try not to hurt any living thing, never force your opinions on anyone and don’t be afraid to think as deeply as your imagination allows you to and you will get there as fast as your karma lets you.
Karen – you’re doing it girl; go for it – you will succeed ; you have that attitude of gratitude and true love – god bless you
I just want to say that I too am 61 (altho I don’t feel it, look it or act it!) and have had lots of stuff going on in my life like everybody does but I went to a Chris Howard seminar recently, have taken a course, am listening to John di Lemme everyday and trying to do so much and realised that like Henry says if you’re not happy with where you are ; if you’re not living to your full potential, if you’re not being you on a daily basis NOTHING WORKS GUYS; my dream/goal now is to use everything i Know and am learning to become the best life coach personal development person I can be I want to go out and tell the world how to make their lives better and how they can fulfill their true purpose but I cant do it until I sort myself out; I know where I’m stuck – and its so painful to ‘have to move’ ; we all do it – the comfort zone / or ‘real life’ whatever you want to call it; so few people really make the jump and thats why I (and lots of others) dont get to manifest their dreams; we do all the affirmations and we work hard but we’re not being true to ourselves…. well I tell you I’ve had enough and I’m doing a ‘breakthrough’ session next week ; a full day with an NLP practitioner and I tell you what – the world better watch out when I’m done…. don’t live half a life people – get out there and be true to yourself – and yes ; we need to accept ourselves as we are – God made us perfect ; once we accept that we can love ourselves be true to ourselvs and live the life God wants for us. Its all there for the taking we just have to lighten up and go for it – scary and exciting – but so well worth it……….
PS: I’m from England and thank you Sherry for those kind words about my country – glad you enjoyed it; I’ve travelled extensively in the States and love it (and other places too) so many places to visit still tho –
thanks for listening and thank you all for sharing – lets keep doing it – please
Thanks for the reading . I really enjoyed it. i also have a question on where to start questions. Let me start by saying i do love what I do. I work for myself , i provide baby/kids apparel to customers all over the World. It is fun what I do. Yes I would like to make much more than i do now. The question is I know I have great qualities, people meet me they enjoy my company. I have charismatic qualities and bring laughter to all the people I meet.People when they meet me or know me always see greatness in me. I do believe that to a certain extent I am trying to parlay all of these qualities and use them to benefit. That’s the frustrating thing.
Hi Karen
I like your article the best” it seems to me that the apprectiation of your beautiful enviorenment (is your art) and i think your art is writng about your feelings” there are many different forms of art and maybe it is to photograph your beautiful surroundings and capture it that way or maybe its inspired writing” so let your imagination run wild”and think about what art really means
george
Such an amazing article!! I feel true love that overwhelms me when I am standing in the middle of my lawn, looking at my humble home, the trees, plants and mountain stream that surround me. I think to myself, how much I love being here and grateful for what I have. Yet, I am still struggling to live my passion, which is creating art! It’s raining now..I think I’ll go out and stand in the rain and get a dose of universal love again! lol
This is really nice post…. keep up the good work, Henk.
I am Ashutosh K Mishra ,As for passion, you must learn to love what you have right now, accept it and be grateful for it, and only when you are grateful do you have the feeling of love. If you accept your condition as it is right now, only then will you be able to ask for and manifest more. Your considering your present situation, in every respect of the term, as not being enough, indicates your not being in love with yourself. Strat living in abundance….not scarcity …..
Thankyou Henk ,
I seem to be getting what “Love” is, I mean in the form it is meant to be understood and experienced. Where I am at with Love is to just let me be me and others be who they want to be.
Total acceptance.
It didn’t happen overnight and it didn’t happen quickly. I have been working on myself for the last 4 years now, more seriously in the last 6 months and it appears to me that I have arrived at this place within the last 2 months although I know other practices such as meditating have a big part to play in it.
And I am completely sure that the reason I have arrived at this place, apart from the desire/want aspect, is because I keep reading the material (like this) that comes my way. I believe I attract it.
However I am not manifesting my desires yet. This article has just made me realise that I am now experiencing the Love required to enable me to start attracting more of what I want.
I certainly know the LOA works as I have attracted so many brilliant, enlightened teachers both for Spiritual enlightenment and in the area of Personal Development.
Henk you rate highly among my mentors.
Hi all,
Sherry, do you realise that you started this flurry of interesting conversation on this blog? OK maybe Henk also played a part, but I’m usually able to read all the comments in one go – accept his time. 🙂
I too have heard all this stuff so often that I got into a very good habit of just scanning past posts like these – because I felt I knew it all. In the past (last yearand before) I would’ve answered the questions in my head and if they were to difficult I’ll just move on. Then one day I decided to do it. Actually sit down and think about the questions and *write* them down. There is an amazing power behind that – the writing down.
I still battle to love automatically. (How can something be ok when you can clearly see it is not ok?) So for me, I have to often power down (or is that power up?) and reconnect with the love and absolute acceptance that is in the deeper part of me.
Thank you Henk – I love your style and appreciate your inspiration.
Thank you Sherry – Your honesty reminded me that it is never easy but you can always start again.
To all – I dare you! Take a pen and paper and answer those questions. I’m going to right now.
Deepest love to all.
Passion is very important when it comes to manifesting but so is forgiveness, accepting, and just growing from your experiences. When trying to manifest something you want, you focus on the outcome of what you want.
I went through a earth-shattering experience (at least for me) about 8 years ago where my thirty plus years marriage ended and I lost my mom. The thing that kept me sane was using my strengths to gain new employment at a place that I have always wanted to work. Surprisingly or maybe not, the opportunity came to me when I was feeling my worst, had little or no self-esteem and was crazy busy dealing with everything including raising five children. I think we all have opportunities that come our way but because of all the other “junk” in our life, we miss seeing them. I just knew that this job was something I wanted and it would make me proud and use my skills and strengths. I have never looked back regarding this decision. The lesson for me is to really try to focus and understand what else I really want and would love to do because it makes me feel good about who I am and what I have to offer. I sabotage some areas of my life such as my finances and am still trying to figure out why. Is it because I think about what I want and don’t think it is possible and because of that make it not possible? I am trying to understand why I do not feel worthy of living a financial-free life instead of putting myself in a situation where I worry about my future, live day to day financially and put myself in a position where I can’t financially help those who I care about. I truly understand the importance of self-love as being a huge part of manifesting the life you really want but how can one decompartilize onself to express total self-love and appreciation of who you are in all areas. I really don’t understand and struggle to find ways to change this. Suggestions
Okay, you my big fave. Yet another superb post…but I still want a new Bentley : )
Have fun, ya’ll
when you know that LOVE is the ultimate cause of everything… LOVING you’ll care, LOVING you’ll be happy, LOVING you’ll do something that you had had afraid… So LOVE unconditional, love above all. LOVE brings you happiness, peace, confidence and certain because NOTHING can destroy that pure LOVE we are. I think each one of us only need to know that we are at this very moment -ALREADY- pure LOVE. Just let it shinning also outside of You. Let it do miracles for you.
I wish everyone of this world could understand this… So we are more genuine, more happy, more friendly, more rich, more achievers, more successful, more healthy… and the world will be more peaceful. There’s a lot of people who doesn’t understand this… so it’s difficult to a one person alone living out there from the inside and keeping that. But I ask you, if you forget yourself, your true nature, please know that you are what you reapetidly do, so restart living on love now. If you do, everything around you restart too showing extraordinary things JUST for you because only you can see the pure love.
Renember it’s more easy when we are more.
Hi Sherry,
My name is Sherry too but unfortunately I don’t have the time to respond totally to your email but just want to say what I did recently-I looked at what my teacher said back in 1st grade about my talents and weaknesses. I couldn’t believe my eyes it was exactly what I’ve been attracted too as a grow-up of 45 years of age and what I’m in the process of doing on the side right now. I will share more later with you.
God bless,
Sherry J.
This is really nice post…. keep up the good work, Henk.

I manifested my beautiful home by the sea and my (almost) perfect man – well no-one is perfect lol.
I was at a very low time in my life and to be honest I didn’t really want to face the realities of what was happening back then. Being naturally positive and knowing I was not happy with what I had, I started writing down in my wishbook, every day, what it is I wanted. I didn’t write just anything down – it was the most important things. I needed a home for me and my son so every day I wrote down that I wanted a flat on the seafront. I visualised as I wrote and spent a while just immersed in the good feelings I knew the seaside gave me. (FACT – the seaside uplifts me – my subconscious cannot argue with that) Every time I was near the sea I would look at the buildings and affirm that I would be living in something like that. I often daydreamed about it during the day. I wanted the top floor flat, with a roof garden and a skylight. I would “see” myself walking up the stairs with shopping, opening my flat front door, walking to the kitchen, putting stuff away, walking to the lounge and looking out of the window and seeing the sea – That is what I did every day and to cut a long story short – my world fell apart, my partner died of cancer, I was evicted from the home I was sharing with him and I slept on my daughter’s floor for 3 weeks. THEN, in a week I got a job offer and saw a flat for rent BY THE SEA. I have been here for just over 3 years now.
For me, I have to really FEEL what it is I want. Yeah of course I want loadsa money and go on lots of holidays, but something inside of me has issues with that and until I can sort that out I will not see much of a change. I AM working on my relationship with money and allowing more of it into my life. I have stopped using credit cards and every day I affirm that I spend some and I save some. I will have paid off my credit card at the end of this month and I only do cash. I know this is a giant step forward for me healing my relationship with money. I also have my “ME” fund – I put £1 a day into a box and I don’t touch it. I know it is there and I do spend some time thinking about what I want to buy with it – feeling good about the things I want – but I don’t touch it. It’s about allowing spare money to be in my life and feeling good about it.
Writing your wishes in a book is the best thing (I have found) and also concentrating on the things I have in my life now that I find pleasing.
It is a struggle being a successful manifester because we have so many conflicting thoughts and we really do have to re-program our subconscious minds…. and check our thoughts all the time. Catch the moaning, negative ones and try to turn them round to something positive.
I hope some of this helps 🙂
I have been reading many things about the Law of Attraction, but I still don’t know how to apply it to our life. How should I start? Should I start with small wish first??
I beleive we should all say “i am love, I am love and kindness” to ourselves everyday. and yes we have to trulely beleive it within us.. then as we go about our day we put our love and kindness into all we meet.. How great is that….The Law of Attraction does seem to be used for oneself rather than the oneness… We came here to love unconditonally…
I love your work Henk so thank you.
Dear Henk :
Thank you for the comments you made today!
Hi, Everybody, this reading has made me feel very happy, and I would just like to share with everybody that I have just done an audition for Britains got Talent, and I’m sixty next April!!!
Greetings (seasonal and yearly) to all.
Have gathered valuable input from ALL the comments that have so generously been posted here. Thank you.
I am 70 years along this particular path, and have turned so many ‘corners’ that at times I find myself “turned around”.. Smile.
I use various healing techniques including Scenar.. (which is a wonderful modality), and find that “helping” people generally without asking much money for the help is “the way to go”.
I own 45 acres of beautiful land in Central America and although at this time I do not have the money to build an alternative health / alternative therapy clinic there, (that is my long-time dream), the intent combined with a tapping into Universal energy may bring an “investor” this way and all the knowledge and experience will be put to a good timely use.
I could ask for more money with what I am doing here but it would never pay to build a clinic anyway and the people I try to help are very poor themselves… I charge enough to cover the cost of my herbs and bottles and other needed items for preparation, ……………… so unless the Universe plops a big brown paper-wrapped package full of Euros or the Sucre on my door step to make my economic conditions vastly different , I still have the greatest of fortunes….
So much more than so many others. And the most wonderful gift of all is to keep learning… My father once told me when I was about 13 years old, “If you EVER get to know just half of what you THINK you know right now, you will be the smartest person in the world”!!! ….. My gracious, how right he was!!! Smile.
I have learned from all of you.

H ,
Thanks for reminding myself of who I am – the universal love of the flame!
The truth is we are all LOVE and so I say Love is a great thing and so I spread love to you all!
I love what you do for the rest of us that seeks the truth in the now.
From love comes a pervading understanding of what we truly are here for.
‘Love, the universal freedom to express consciousness in your unique and natural way.’ Wouldn’t it be great to do that all day long.
Thanks for the post. Good one 🙂
Hi All,
Lovely blog, lovely thougts by great minds. The Universe gives us abundance, it does not know anything else. It is upto us to decide what we want in abundance. Love or anything else. The Universe shows us a mirror, so if we love ourselves it will give us an abundance of love.
Acceptance is a major factor in loving oneself. The grass always seems to be greener on the other side, but think of it this way, ” Maybe what we have on this side of the fence is good for us, as God / Energies will never want anything Bad to happen on purpose, as it will only upset the balance of Life.
Most of the time we ourselves upset this balance out of ignorance, trying to want something which is not good for us.
Understanding our Unique position in Life and appreciating it, is the KEY to Loving Oneself and Being Happy.
I find myself in a world I never intended. A middle-age, single woman filled with uncertianty. The ‘real’ world seems very un-understanding. Working jobs with angery controlling know-it-alls, that consider me otherwise unemployable. Relationships never gelled due to my misunderstanding and inability to connect. Everyone seems to know what’s best for me. Having been molded and prodded to be “what is expected of me’, I have failed. I have failed because I’m not who I was meant to be. So now I am lost, or I should say I have always been lost. I am thankful for the internet for without it, I never would be on the path to find myself. I am thankful for the souls who lead the trails, for without them I am alone in the dark. I do not think (process) like the majority, so I am misunderstood. The thing is…I like the way I think(process), i see value in the way I think. I see a different world, as though I live in a different dimension. This collision of worlds brings great conflict within. I know there is more to life than what we’ve been programed to believe. I am now exploring my youth, for my own quest for purpose. I am thankful for the opportunity to voice my confusion, and my desire to find my passion and inner peace.
I liked it. So much useful material. I read with great interest.
Valuable thoughts and advices. I read your topic with great interest.
In truth, immediately i didn’t understand the essence. But after re-reading all at once became clear.
Very interesting and amusing subject. I read with great pleasure.
Looking forward to geting the ebooks! Maury
Wow!
Just stumbled – or rather the universe has led me to this amazing blog, how timely for me as I too have been trying to work out what my GOALS are, while studying the “law of attraction”.
Though I must admitt I’ve been getting closer since studying the self development curriculim that is part of an internet-based business I am pursuing.
I definately can relate to the “passion to help people” aspect, my passion is helping people heal through SCENAR, a truly amazing technology that helps kick start or fast track the body’s healing processes. Don’t seem to attract very many paying patients, but get huge satisfaction from seeing people get results!
Bravo keep up the great posts everyone. The words of encouragement directed at Sherry were inspirational for me to read.
great posts! thanks for all of the great insights! what if being a mom is your greatest passion? how do you monetize that?????
Hi Sherry!
I think our comfortable zone is not allowed us to move forward in our life.
You say that you stay in one place for so many years, have you ever tried to live in another country?
To discover your inner strength you have to keep yourself hungry, that is the toughest
thing in the world.
If you can write so nicely and you like travelling, why would you not try to teach English in schools of African continent?
You will get at least out of your comfortable place with all your friends and your job from 9 to 5 every day and you will discover another world…I’m sure you will get inspired too!
I really like your blog and i respect your work. I’ll be a frequent visitor.
I completely agree with Patsy. Relax, be still and get to the Alpha state which is the lower brain wave state than the everyday mind. This is the place where the Kingdom of Heaven is. It is at your core or your center. Where else could it be? Then, Ask and you shall receive, Seek and you shall find, Knock and it shall be opened. Just ask like you are talking to your very best friend who loves you more than anything. Believe and have a little faith (cause it will grow) and YOU WILL GET AN ANSWER. As I understand it, the subconscious is open ended…to us and to the Creative Vital FORCE that is holding this place together. The only way you get in there is through a relaxed state.
Also, you don’t have to be so grim and serious about it. My most wondrous, spontaneous, conincidental and serendipitous ANSWERS came when I finally used humor. Yes, finally I resorted to calling God “Smartypants” cause I got really tired of all this mystery….like Where did we come from? and questions like that. Well, the answer came in a very funny situation 2 minutes after I asked. So, is God (Creator, Universe, Higher Self or whatever) personal? Seems so! But, that is another mystery and a nice one! Also, none of this has to interfere with anyone’s religion. It is a MENTAL world. That is a fact!
Go exploring and see what you can find out in your mental realm and real estate. There is even LIGHT inside your dark brain. In fact, that is where ALL light is! EVERYTHING takes place INSIDE your head! The computer screen you are looking at is revealed inside your head. The faces of your loved ones show up on a screen somewhere inside your brain or your mind. No one really knows where for sure. If you read brain and science studies they talk about consciousness and the brain as they “currently understand it”. No one really knows. Rupert Sheldrake (Cambridge biologist) believes the mind is outside of us. No one has definitely pinned it down.
But, can’t go wrong with LOVE or Stillness and exploring the Kinddom within. (Bible says be still and know I am God…) The Absolute Vital Force and Power that owns ALL the Names is within you and waiting to give you some answers. You will NEVER feel alone or depressed again if you STAY in touch with this part of you. You will hardly ever want to take a drink or anything again once you encounter this. Just remember to stay awake to it cause we are walking into a new moment at all times and that Force is there for YOU!!! But, you have to stay awake and keep the communication lines open.
Rather than attract THINGS, why not attract and seek WISDOM? This is greater than Gold or any dumb car, like a Bentley (that could get bent). The Kingdom of Heaven (God) is within…it is all there, waiting for you to visit.
I also think that there are a lot of other deeper experiences like in dreams, time travel, remote viewing etc. but, always remember we can be like a little child to have profound experiences without training for years and years.
Patsy, Sherry and other posters inspired me to write cause all this Wisdom and hidden gems come through from everyone. I pray as much LOVE, TRUTH and WISDOM as we can handle will come to all of us and we can spread it around.
As for changing the subconscious beliefs that may be habitual, negative and blocking access to our true destiny, gentle self-hypnosis is extremely helpful. All this is free information found on the internet and libraries and spiritual centers.
D.
Passion (and the love that comes from it) is the single emotion which can change things for people. If they accept realities and live in the NOW, things will be different for them. However, they love the bank balance, their car, they are too much attatched to things outside of them rather than accept themselves as they are.
When one lives in this world to impress others, the impact they create in their lives is negative. When the concentration is outside of me, the inside suffers. A right hander has his right hand stronger than the left. Similarly, when I do not bother about the inside ‘I’, the respect for the self is lost and people cant sit with themselves for long. They live a pseudo life with a false smile and painting things outside rather than care about that which is vital inside.
Thank you for helping see the reality and get out of the actuality living…

What a great article and blog comments here!! Very interesting, exciting and encouraging! Yes just follow your bliss or just whatever you enjoy if you’re not sure what your bliss may be and ideas will come to you, in fact, flow to you as to how to go about putting it into action as a way of life – or at least a part of your life to begin with. Relax and go with the flow and the rest will fall into place.
Relaxing is a great way to contact your subconscious. You can ask it questions and it will reply as long as you stay relaxed. You can ask it anything and it will tell you the answer or where to find it because it knows everything – how fantastic is that?!!
The other great thing is, this is not idealistic waffle as the system and other authorities would have us believe, but the truth!!
Love and light to all –
Patsy
Yeah this is actually really cool and has a lot to do with what I am currently studying. The second most productive emotion to FAITH is LOVE because love also stimulates your mind to a higher vibration so you can communicate thoughts to your subconcious mind. Cool article Henk.
Sincerely,
Mr. Flower
Greetings Sherry,
It’s not too often that someone catches my attention in the world of blogging. Equally important is I don’t normally respond often to them as well. Yours did however so here goes:
Sometimes we are blinded by our own self-limiting beliefs that we have worked hard in creating that we fail to see the light that is shinning down on us. The first thing I would recommend is to stop subconsciously feeding those negative beliefs that are evident in your postings and the first step in doing that is become “aware” that you are doing it.
Just re-read your postings and you will see the subtle and creative ways on how you are doing it. You are feeling “stuck” so subconsciously you are continuing to look for evidence to support that. You need to be aware that the feeling of being stuck is just a feeling and it doesn’t have to control you. No one is stuck in life. We just stick ourselves by choice and go on finding reasons to support that illusion.
Based on the accomplishments you posted, you are not stuck. The path in front of you is just not clear and as a result you are creating resistance to protect yourself from making a wrong choice. Just let that go! It is not serving you in a good way.
I get the feeling and I could be wrong but you are a person who really wants to help others and are not sure how to go about it. You have much wisdom and experience to share but are not clear on how to share it. I believe that is what really lights you up. Helping others in a meaningful way. Well you have much to offer judging by what you wrote in your posts and the interest they created in others.
Consider this question: How would it feel if you were able help in a meaningful way a mid-aged woman who has spent her life working and raising her family and now has come to a point in her life that she is feeling stuck and perhaps useless? Do you think there are women out there who fit that? There are plenty and you have much help to offer them.
There are so many ways you can do this and as I am sitting here some ideas are flowing:
A couple that came to mind are:
1) Start your own blog? newsletter? website? focused on women who are in your situation in where you offer them information and resources to help with their problems.
2) Start a real world support group in your area for women like yourself and name it: Women – Life Begins Now!
Don’t pre-judge things at this point or worry about the hows. Just follow your passion and the hows will show up. We can all find 1000 reasons why something won’t work but only need 1 good reason why it will work.
As I am writing this a woman keeps coming to my mind who I believe is a source of inspiration for everyone. This woman has this passion for talking to people. Yes that’s it. Simply just talking to people. Now how on God’s green earth can anyone monetize a passion like that? Talking to people?
Well I suggest that you read the story of Oprah Winfrey ! That is her passion! Talking to people.
You are great Sherry and have all the tools necessary to accomplish whatever it is you focus you energy on. So it comes down to what are you going to decide to do with the rest of your life?
Focus your energy on being stuck? Focus on the reasons or things that you believe are stopping you or decide that you are moving on letting go of the past and taking the next step on your journey through this game called life?
Make no bones about it, life doesn’t care what you decide. It will serve you either way. The choice is yours!
Wishing you much success and happiness,
Alex
I just posted this quote on my blog today… “It is the combination of thought and love which forms the irresistible force of the law of attraction.” Charles Haanel … we’re riding the same wave :).
Hi-
At the time of me leaving this comment there have already been 30. Most of my sentiments have been expressed. However, I am leaving the following.
All of our illumined teachers from history and today have said in effect, “Find that stillness inside and go in peace”. Peace can be described as acceptance, allowance, expectancy, believing, etc. I describe “peace” as love. Seek peace.
To your grandest vision,
Walter-The Navigator
P.S. I believe Gary is referring to sponsoring thoughts in that our actions are based upon our thoughts that are predicated on what we believe to be possible.
P.P.S. If our subconscious thoughts are clouded by limiting beliefs or counter intentions, we will not see the results we intend. For we cannot generate the correct thoughts that will lead to the inspired actions to manifest. Some of these beliefs may need to be examined and expunged.
I read a few topics. I respect your work and added blog to favorites.
Hi all,
I mostly read all the posts with the articles and this page is a page full of passion and love!

Hi Everyone!
I am too yired to think pr write. It’s hard to find the right letters but not too tired to send my love to all. I also want to assure you my questions are not judgements, only observations of my beliefes. After all, we are all perfect, we just dont believe it. Let’s all believe Sherrys personal problems are melting away and send a lot of love her way. What am I thinking??? We are :).
w/love, henry
PS: Gary—Wow!
Hi folks.. I just wanted to drop in to see if you were all still here and I see you are. I am afraid I I will not be joining in right now. Some personal problems have come up and need my attention, and frankly I just don’t have the energy right now to make intelligent conversation.
I am surprised to see my name mentioned a few times though. It is nice to know others out there relate in some way. Have to go, but you are all in my thoughts. I will check in, in a few days to see if this is still going. In the meantime, keep up the dialog.
My Love to you all
Sherry
O no! Henry and Sherry, don’t go away. This is just getting interesting! I can relate to everything you say….
Thank you Henkfor your very thoughtful and inspiring reflections. Everything we need is already created. Creation is finished and we each enjoy the benefits of creation in the amount of our individual consciousness. Each of us is individually responsible for our state of consciuosness. All solutions to your life’s challenges are available right within you and free of charge if you care to try. For you, who require someone else to do it for you, of course you must pay for the ‘doer’s time for doing it for you. That is why you get paid by your employer. Otherwise, why not work for him free of charge every day, and every month? Iam 59 years old, and to a large extent, my life has been “on all fours” with Sherry’s experience, until I started to take responsibility for my actions and my life. I found out some 5years ago that being alone/a loner, shuts you off from communicating with life as I tended to be self centered and cut off from the Universal Love stream. By opening up to life Iam able to tap from Universal Love and Knowledge to realize better results. By extending my consciousness into the Ocean of Love and Mercy I can hear Divine Guidance through the medium of being Soul,a spark of God that has all the divine qualities. Iam enjoying the flow therefrom by giving love to others everyday. That has been and i still my continuing experience, and not a sermon on net! I Love you all!
Hi to all. Thanks to the host for allowing the use of this medium to share our thoughts. I visit occassionally. I think this is my first post. I must say I identify with Sherry. Every time I read an article asking what make my heart sing?, I draw a blank. I too think I am a good person (I guess most people think they are), a good marriage to the same man, 21 yrs -to borrow Sherry’s words-“with the normal ups and downs of most”. My personality often goes out of its way to spare other’s feeling. Only in recent years, with tremendous and repeated effort, learned to say ‘no’. The think is, for all of my childhood and young adult years, I was always trying to please someone – mostly my mom (a single mother). Then too I was baptised into a very strict religion at age 14. It was important that I had the approval of the religious community I was a part of. Not to mention “…in everything one must ascertain what the will of God is.””Not my will Lord, but Thy will be done.” Any and all natural desire was suppressed, snuffed out, buried. (Excuse the inference). Now those desires seem to be gone or have receded so far into the subconscious that it may require special help to reach them. If people like myself and Sherry could somehow eke some time out of the demands of our busy lives, maybe, just maybe we could meditate and silence our minds to the point where we could coax the injured & intimidated child we locked away into the dark recesses, to come forward so we could meet, know and LOVE them. Just a thought. I know this post it long. I just really needed to get that out.
Henry, I too have had reason to back away from some long held beliefs. I find your post very interesting. You’ve left my mind buzzing with a lot of questions. If you … and Sherry… are going to continue the conversation elsewhere, is it a site or page where I may join?
Hello Sherry and Henry,
Henry those are great questions, I have had many similar questions. I particularly agree that if those folks that claim to have the answer to how to make life better, do have the answers, why are they charging money for it? Or how about this, if less than one percent of the people of the world control virtually all the world’s resources, why do the rest of us allow them to? Why do we go along with it? Why do we accept the idea that it’s ok for a few people to control all the wealth of the world while the majority of people struggle to get by? Or how about this, if the earth does not charge a price to grow the food, what gives the grocery store the right to charge a price for the food that the earth produced? Or, where did the belief in the idea come from that there should be a price to pay for the food? How did we all come to the belief that the only right way for the world to work is there should be a price for everything? How did we come to accept the belief that everything in life should be about acquiring the money to pay the price that is required on everything that is needed to live in the world? How is it we collectively accepted the fundamental idea that society should be based on the exchange of money for everything that is needed to live? Is not the acceptance of that basic premise the root of essentially all hardship in our world?
Those are not questions we hear every day. We’re not supposed to ask questions like that. Because the answers have to do with those who profit from the prices being paid. In other words, that small percentage of the people who do in fact control all the wealth and resources. For thousands of years we have all been brainwashed and programmed to believe in the principles of a society based on imbalance and injustice. Where the few can live in excessive lifestyles, and the majority live in mediocrity at best. We’ve been forced to accept the consequences as inevitable. And it persists because collectively we allow it to, by accepting the belief in it. It is considered acceptable. Whether imbalance, injustice and hardship is by the hand of pharaohs, emperors, kings, queens, government, fortune 500 CEO’s, or wallstreet bankers, it exists because collectively we allow it to. It exists as the manifested beliefs of the collective consciousness.
It has been said associated to the article posted here that love is the answer, and “all we need is Love.” It is true Love is certainly a very powerful, and desirable quality of higher consciousness. If our society lived by Love most of the problems of our world would not exist. In fact if our society truly lived by Love, as in the knowing that we are all one shared consciousness, there would be no prices to pay or money to exchange, and therefore no injustice or hardship. Because if we lived in the knowing that we are all one shared consciousness, there would be no desire to withhold what is needed by another for the sake of a profit, or to dominate over another for the sake of personal gain. Because what reason would there be to profit from oneself, or to dominate over oneself? Injustice would not be considered acceptable. Hardship would not exist because why would one’s self allow one’s self to go without what is needed to live comfortably?
However I have gotten sidetracked from what I had originally intended to discuss. Please forgive the tirade. I had originally wanted to discuss the aspect mentioned in the article posted about what causes inconsistency with the individual results people have, whether from attempting to manifest the Laws of Attraction, or any other approach offered as a means to improve one’s experience of life, such as the power of positive thinking, affirmations, mantras, or whatever else. I have been plagued all my life by why is it that something, anything will work fine for some people but not at all for some other people.
Now the article posted here would tell us the missing element, the answer to it all, is Love. As I mentioned before Love is a great quality, no doubt a lot of people would experience great results in their lives by practicing Love. But I suspect, much like any other approach like positive thinking, affirmations, mantras or whatever else, Some people may still experience some inconsistency in the results they have. Shall we explore the reasons why? Actually it would take far too long to discuss in such a venue to do it justice, but for some reason I seem to keep writing.
The reason people have inconsistent or varying results from any system or approach to producing change in their quality of life is related to what it is that produces the experience of life an individual has. Said simplistically, the experience of life an individual perceives is the product of the internal belief systems that person has. (there’s a little more involved, but it would take way too much to go into here). Or said another way, we manifest our experience of life to correspond to whatever our internal subconscious beliefs are.
So, very briefly it goes something like this: Beliefs are anything that someone has accepted as true, whatever that may be, regardless of whether it’s true or not. As humans, we form our beliefs about most everything during the first few years of childhood. Those beliefs form what I call the fundamental belief system, and are established in the subconscious. That fundamental belief system then becomes the guidelines for the subconscious to produce the experience a person has in life. The subconscious and the universe then interact to produce experiences of life that correspond to the ideas and perceptions held in the fundamental belief systems.
If the belief structures someone has are conducive to a successful life as our world goes, then things are fine. But, on the other hand, if the belief structures someone has are limiting, self defeating or otherwise negative, that will determine the type of experience the person will have. The cause of the inconsistencies different people have with various types of programs is that if an action or intent a person wishes to express on a conscious basis is in conflict with the perceptions held in the subconscious belief systems, the subconscious will reject it. So, no amount of positive thinking, affirmations, or mantras, or anything else will produce any sustained results that are contrary to whatever is established in the sub conscious belief system.
So, it explains the apparent inconsistencies of why some people have some types of results from a program and other people have different results, and other people have some completely different experience. The same can also explain essentially any aspect of life experience as well. If a person has a desired intent that is in conflict with whatever perception is held by the subconscious belief systems, the belief system will ultimately prevail, and the desired result will not be achieved. The only way to surpass conflicting negative belief structures is to purge the belief from the subconscious belief system. Which, is well beyond the scope of this discussion.
Well, I’m sure I’ve gone beyond anything anyone was interested in hearing, I don’t presume to tell anyone anything, but I guess I felt I needed to put it out there.
Live your dreams by finding your passion.
Sherry, if nothing else, you could write a blog about keeping a how to keep a marriage together. there are some skills and talents involved in that feat. Dancing, that seems to be an absolutely wonderful start. Can you tell people how to do the dances that you do? I feel what you say about home based businesses. I am 61 years of age and have been through the whole gamut of home based business snafus.. Amway, et.al but I refuse to give up. I think that the “secret” for you is expressed in these words from henry
Well, ask yourself:
* What are your strengths?
* What do you excel in?
* What are your unique talents?
* What can you do better than most others?
* What are your passions?
* What makes your heart sing?
* What can you do for hours, that makes you lose track of time and fills you with energy and joy?
Love to you and yours and success will follow.

Goodmorning Henry…. Just a short comment, as I have to go to work myself in about 5 minutes. You obviousy have a lot on your mind. Many of your questions I have asked myself, some (if I am honest), I never thought about or frankly even knew. The one thing that stood out to me, was “why do people who know the law of attraction have to charge to learn it”. I have always felt that if I truly held the key to something that could change SO many people’s lives, I believe in my heart I would offer it free of charge. I did read once however, that everyone has the right to charge for knowledge. It was an interesting article, and If I can find it I will tell you where to go to read it. Gave a perspective that I had not thought about, so it does give one pause for reconsidering their position. At any rate, I must run for now but will touch base on some of your other points later today or tomorrow. Maybe…… we need to take our conversations off of this blog?. We seem to be writing more than most. Some may think we are monopolizing the site?? Oh well, if you should want to exchange email addresses, just give the word.
Love and Happiness to all
Sherry
Hi Sherry!
That short statment i made about Suzanns’s comment wasn’t to cut you off. I wrote an answer to your letter. I started it last night, finshed it this morning, hit send and wasn’t connected to the internet. When connected, I lost what took about 3 hrs to write. I had a long day babysitting two 4 and 5 yr old little grils while their mother was visiting her friend in the hospital. They were the most beautiful, well behaved and loving, fun little kids. It gives me hope for the future. I truly enjoyed the experience. I have 5 grown, from 25 next month to 36. They (3 girls and 2 boys) were just like that. It was if i was holding their hands again. What a beautiful day.
My wife and i were married 14 yrs. No matter how hard we tried we just couldn’t make it. We divorced in 87. I never married again. We delivered all 5 at home, home schooled and never had a TV. I was a Christian fanatic, Got saved after serving in the U.S.M.C. in Vietnam. I even practiced “Biblical Judeaism” for 5 yrs. trying to understand Jesus better. One day i was confronted with some history that destoryed my beliefes. It has continued to happen. Every time i think i’ve found it, another blink of history surfaces that is undeniable. I didnt wan’t to change, I worked so hard to understand. But when you realize you’ve been so damned close minded, in a box of bullshit. What else can you do?
I’ll bet James didn’t know the origanal Hebrew text was written without punctuation. Over 308,000 numericial letters….hence…. the word of G-d (try spelling that!). Mathmaticans and Scholars have discovered a neumerical code that has predicted every major event to date… What day is the sabbath?
I’m not trying to be a wise ass here. They are facts i have been confronted with. I am on an adventure of trying to sift through the bullshit :)!
I have 60yrs. of Questions i want answered. Here are just a few…..6 people control over 80% of the cash in the world? There is no law that says we have to pay taxes? All our taxes are paid to the bank of england? One block in the Wailing Wall weighs 600 tons? The Aztecks knew about Pluto? If you know what i ment, why is spelling such a big deal? They have tablets in India that tell how to smelt metals for aircraft that are 6,000yrs old? Why the picture of a helicopter in King Tuts tomb? How come we cant bulid a level bathroom and the great pyramid is only 1/2 inch out of level (after how many yrs.? is it our equipt.)? They are still using bridges in China that are over 3,000 yrs. old ? Cellphones dont have wires. Why do we need them? Why do people that know the law of attraction have to charge you to learn it? Columbus had a map? Why cant we all get along? What am i thinking??? My thoughts affect the magnetic field of the earth? Thoughts create reality? How come i still feel love in my heart? There is so much more.
OK, It took an aliean to convince me, not to think. there is a part of our brains that has all the answers and we dont have to ask. We just have to practice stillness. Everything is hard at first. Just realize you have it. Everything youve ever wanted is inside your head and it wants to connect. We just have to allow ourselves to listen to nothing, without expectation. I want to to work in the morning. Goodnite,
W/love, henry
Les, I’m sorry I meant to address you comment in the last message. I believe you are absolutely correct. Your comment about being separated from ones true passion for so long hits close to home for me. I had very loving parents, but since they were from a very different generation I was taught and raised by everything that was “old school”. I don’t feel that was all bad as it certainly did instill a sense of pride and moral obligation in me, but at the same time it did not allow me the freedom to choose my path in life. Mine was pretty much dictated to me. Having said that, I also realize that as an adult I had the option of changing at any time. I guess I simply did not know how. Now at the age of 57, I feel my life is what it is. This is not to say it is bad, it is just not where I expected to be, or what I expected to have at this point in time. All in all, though I know I am very blessed and I am so grateful for what I do have. It just makes me sad at times, as I wish some things had been different. I know I am not alone in this. I have spoken to many others that feel the same.
I obviously do not know you Henry, but I love your passion. It just exudes in your words…
Keep it going. May your next 60 years be even greater than the first!!
Wow, that was great Suzanne! In stillness there is only love. One energy. We all feel that from Sherry and her husband, Oscar, Henk , Hicham, Alba, James, Jhon, Janny, Lee, Sudhakar , You. We are that. Love. I’ts only thinking that doubts that! Hell, we are all one perfect energy. In stillness, nothing, no one, needs to be fixed. Seplnlig dosent matter. We just get it and support each other.
At 60, I’m learning not to think. Beyond thought is so much much more fun!!! Learning to just “be”.. Feeling reality change through intuition. Knowing we are all perfect.
Wow, I said that????
Well said Suzanne If you start buy looking in the mirror at yourself you will start to love yourself and then love the others like yourself and you see everybody as yourself
We were all told to seek the kingdoom of God within, but we are all looking out there , and in everyone else for the answer and its righ were we are its within us. And once we see this you will find that satan that James is talking about is and was just your Ego. You then will be in your Beingness and everything is beautifull Its starts with love then Beingness and peace you are in omnipresence and everything come to you just buy a mere though.
There’s nothing ‘hard’ about LOVE – it’s our natural condition / essence. You don’t have to find it or ‘harness’ it – it is everything; the building blocks of all creation / manifesting..
That’s why some meditate – to get to that STILL place within where you recognise you are Love. You will find that same stillness in the flower, in a sound, in a droplet of water, in a sunset / sunrise. Being true to one’s unique essence – no comparing / competing ‘harnessing’.
Dare to be YOU, authentic to the core (to thine own self be true…). That is where you live YOUR life in alignment with Love – and own that are one in Creation, 😉
Abundance is but an integral state of Being, not $$$$, right?
Verygood your on the right track but there are a lot of gaps to be fill I recomend you to read the Books of Almine there you will find all your anwers and much more
Hi Henry, You are really too kind, but thank you for the nice comments. I would love to tell you that I have danced on the big stage and traveled to distant lands, but that would be far from the truth. I guess I should have said, I love “going” dancing. Gives a slightly different meaning to it, doesn’t it (lol)? As far as music, I love it all. I listen to everything from Bach to Rock. Pretty much depends on my mood. Most of the time though, I listen to anything upbeat. I like happy music or music that makes you move. Travel?? Well, I have been on a couple of basic cruises, to Belize, Hondurus, Mexico, etc. Lots of fun, and enjoyed them immencely, however my desire is to go on a cruise to Greece, or Italy or Alaska, something like that. With any luck I (and my hubby of course) will be able to do that in a few years. I have had the good fortune of going to England, and the Scottish Highlands. I guess I would have to consider that “MY” trip of a lifetime. Amazing history and beauty in that part of the world. In the US, I have been out West to some fantastic places. I guess I would have to say Zion was my favorite site on that trip. Unbelievable majestic mountains, that are just breathtaking. As for my reading, I read everything I can get my hands on that is for self-improvement, or spiritual in nature. I love to read about quantum physics (do I UNDERSTAND it….) that would be a difinitive NO! but I still find it absolutely fascinating. I really do not have a favorite author, or title of any book that I could name at the moment (probably because I think Alzeheimers is setting in and I can’t remember!! (lol). Well, aren’t you glad you asked all of these questions. I could go on forever but you were so sweet to even write back to me, that I guess I should bow out gracefully. Oh, and now that you complimented me on my spelling… I hope and pray I have spelled everything in this letter correctly! Would be quite embarassing if not!!
What about you? Do you follow this site? How has it helped you or what are your beliefs on the subject of the “Law of Attraction” and the topic discussed above? I would love to hear from you. Yours in Friendship, Sherry
Love is the missing link, absolutely. It’s kind of interesting because it took me about a year to understand what Love is. I always thought that the Law of Attraction was a simple but not easy concept to apply.
Most of the rich people made their money mainly through competing, pushing, and shoving. The Law of Attraction may have helped them a little but I don’t think it’s the major component of their success. If you want effortless riches you need Love. Love to me is what stitches us together. It’s that unexplainable feeling that we are all one.
When we get the concept of Love everything we do is aimed at serving others. When we serve others the whole universe helps us. When we serve our selfish needs there simply not much energy to work with, as such it takes a long time to achieve our goals. If you want to achieve your goals seek a higher purpose, do something that benefits others and let the money, cars, and houses be incidental to the journey not its objective.
May Love be part of your life.
Dear Henk, thank you so much for a great article! much appreciated. With Love Alba.
Sherry— your a great writer. You got my attention! 36 years of marraige and still going—Wow! There has got to be some stories in that. I feel the talent and the possibilites and not only that, you can spell! Where have you traveled and danced? What kind of music? whats the best book you ever read? We wanna know!!!
w/love, henry
Henk , you rock!
The flame is definitely the missing ingredient in Manifesting. The question is how do you
harness it. Not that easy as we think. Definitely possible but you need time and patience
to cultivate it.
With warm wishes,
Sudhakar
I wonder if Sherry, like many of us, has been seperated from her true passions for so long(often since early childhood), not being allowed by parents and others to be our true selves and express ourselves freely, that we can’t find our way back to what it is that drives us and excites us, but settle into what we think is okay and what we can have in our life. Just a thought.
Les
Hello, What if at the age of 57 you truly do not feel like you excel at anything or have any “unique” talents? I feel I am basically a good person. I don’t like hurting people, try to be suppotive when needed, try to be unjudgemental, etc. I have been married to one man for 36 years and we have one beautiful daughter age 34. I have had a good marriage, (with the normal ups and downs of most), but all in all we care for each other very much. I have worked hard since the age of 13 and appears that I will continue to have to work a 9 to 5 job until retirement. I know that is a sore subject for me since I have attempted every home based business on the market to make my “success” so that both my husband and I could retire by now. Needless to say that has not happened. I know this forum is probably not the place to be stating all of this, and apologize for getting off track. Bottom line is when I stop to think about what truly makes me happy or makes my heart sing, I don’t have a clue. My basic interests at this point in my life are, reading, music, dancing and traveling. I am not sure how I could use any of those things to benefit others. I am somewhat of a loner most of the time, meaning I enjoy my quiet time. So you see, now that I have probably bored you to death, I have no clue how to accomplish what you mention above. Well, thank you for listening, IF in fact anyone is actually stayed with this long enough to read it. I guess I am not really expecting you to reply to this, but it helps to put it in words. I will go about my day as normal and try to give thought to your comments. I do enjoy your site. God Bless you and may you have a beautiful day. Sherry
I love the change in your articles. I’m sure many people reading it will realise how important this is.I always get fresh ‘revelation’ when I read them. It reminds me of all the things I have (had) learned in my school days.
Janny
Very true thanks
Great post. I want people to understand something. When you ask yourself those things under “Where to start”, you are finding out your passion. It is this that will manifest into something great for you because you are doing it out of love, and not money. James Ray said it best “Success in not the result of making money, making money is the result of success.
Find your passion, and focus 100% effort towards it, and watch your life become what you want it to be!
