What a wonderful lesson to everybody that is always moaning and groaning about everything. A lesson of encouragement and that shows where there’s a will, there’s away.
As always, thanks so much Henk. while I’ve seen this film a few times, your sending it to me now obviously means I need a little self reflection right now. you’re always there for me when I need you, Thanks so much!
I have seen Nick in person, when he shared his courageous life
story. This short video is yet another way he is able to share what he has gone through. I say, “Bravo!” He has become a great teacher and evangelist worldwide.
AMAZING. The Butterfly Circus showed me how to help, what it means to allow people to live in a loving, supportive environment and with time and grace: support them to find out what they can do/their gifts, maybe repeat to them what they seem to be saying about themselves and then when they are feeling loved and safe: let them “do it themselves” (and not ?help?) and let them fail and somehow: find their own way. ?(I agree and pray for the wisdom the know the difference…to know by asking how the person is feeling: safe, accepted, loved as they are, respected, listened to and understood, able to give and to receive. (Sounds like the Prayer of St Francis to me.)?
Truly inspirational Henk. You definitely have the capacity to not only find the nuggets, but seem to have acquired the whole mine. Just what I needed, and at just the right time,ThankYou
lovely film that guy was really brave i cant believe he has that much courage and motivation in himself it shows in this film that we should be grateful for what we have body and limbs so inspiring
Extremely Valuable Film EveryOne needs to see! Healthy uplifting environment, the Butterfly Circus, vs. horrible circus. You will only thrive and find your Best Self in a Healthy Environment! If it feels icky, it IS icky!
Wow, I am feeling so moved by this film…in tears. There is just so much in this short film. A knowingness/faith by the caterpillar that it will become what it is supposed to become despite its struggle…a butterfly. The man was supposed to become an inspiration for others and he had the hardest journey of the troupe…to go from having people laugh at him, feel pity for him to being in awe of him…for him to go from feeling sorry of himself, angry with life and others to feeling wonder, jubilation, joy and love. I am holding the faith…I will be who I am meant to be. Thank you, I appreciate you, with love.
I saw this film many years ago, and I find it as inspiring and touching as I did the first time. The hardest the journey, the most satisfying the success… As long as we conquer our fears, we are invincible! Thank you for this gift, and thank you for caring and taking the time to search and find wonderful things to share with us!
I have understood that nothing is impossible albeit many does not believe like I used to do.watching this film set me free from chain of unbelieving which bond many’s achievement.
I love the butterfly metaphor… a caterpillar must struggle to get out of the cocoon, in order to emerge as a butterfly….this struggle, combined with faith, allowed him to be as beautiful as he allowed himself to be
A beautiful movie! A big portion of the joy of life comes from our victory over our weaknesses. When we think that God has forsaken us, it is the exact opposite. It is usually the opportunity. He is giving us to discover our immense power and uniqueness. In the meantime, He sends us beacons of light to light our way.
To me this film taught the man with no legs and arms how to believe that God would show him how to believe in himself. And that he does not have to belittle himself any more. Whatever he believes he can do will come true.
Thank you for the film, it’s always good to see what we can become when we look at things a different way and believe in ourselves and others. God Bless!
What a beautiful film….about kindness, unwavering faith, and triumph through any adversity. It brings on tears as well as a feeling of comfort. There are people who will assist you on your journey no matter what situation you are facing.
I did enjoy this short movie. Believing in yourself is so important to succeed in any challenge. If you believe you can do it, you can do it. When you stop believing you stop living your life to the full. We are the only one who put limits on our capabilities, we all have strengths and weaknesses but as long as we focus on expanding our strengths everything and anything is possible.Just believe it.
Beautiful!
The greater the struggle the greater the triumph
The greater inspiration
This lovely film just captured my heart. Thank you!

The power of self-belief. Thank you Henk.

There are no limits to what we can overcome, but the highest are our own.
THIS is absolutely FABULOUS. The BELIEF of one person of another is INCREDIBLE. There is ALWAYS SOME ONE who WILL believe in us even if WE dodn’t
I lost all the words to say anything.
Henk, thank you so much!
It is as important and valuable to discover our greatness, as to find someone to help us do it.
So much joy. He said ” yes you have an advantage the grandest challenge” aw!
Actually, the line was, “Yes, you do have an advantage: the grater the struggle, the more glorious the triumph.”
No words just awe of what can be done and felt with faith.
Truly inspirational Henk. You definitely have the capacity to not only find the nuggets, but seem to have acquired the whole mine. Just what I needed, and at just the right time,ThankYou
What a lovely film and sharing of the power of sharing acceptance and love.

In the end it is a lesson in LoVe.

A very touching movie, God has given us ability to do anything we are able to do dispite disabilities. Thanks always for sharing here!
my jaw was opened the moment it was announced that he will jump into the pool of water. Only through faith that he made it.
faith is like muscle, exercise it and it will grow, stop it and you loose. Many people including seek to find it and loose when I think I got it…..

The power of BELIEF quite emotional for me.
Thank You!
We all should remember…what is truly deep inside.
To me this film taught the man with no legs and arms how to believe that God would show him how to believe in himself. And that he does not have to belittle himself any more. Whatever he believes he can do will come true.
Great…Very touching..makes one THINK about how we accept others who may be different from us.
Thank you for the film, it’s always good to see what we can become when we look at things a different way and believe in ourselves and others. God Bless!
